Red Agent Guan Lu: Her whole life, without a trace of dust, 75 years old, she herself chose to say goodbye

In 1939, there were three most famous female writers in Shanghai Beach, they were Zhang Ailing, Ding Ling, and Guan Lu.

Among these three people, Guan Lu's life is the most legendary, the most ups and downs, the cleanest, and her life, without a trace of dust.

Guan Lu' original name was Hu, in 1907, she was born in Youyu County, Shanxi Province, a declining feudal scholar family, her father had been a person in the imperial examination, and later has been an official in Shanxi, after Guan Lu was born, her father named her Hu Shoulin.

Two years later, her sister was born and named Hu Xiufeng.

During her childhood, Guan Lu's mother had a great influence on her, and she often taught Guan Lu: to study well, to do things in the future to be financially independent, not to expect men, and to marry freely.

Under the influence of her mother, Guan Lu was familiar with the education and edification of traditional Chinese culture such as the Four Books and Five Classics from an early age, which also laid a very solid foundation for her to become a female writer.

In 1928, Guan Lu, under the pseudonym Hu Shouhua, was admitted to the Department of Literature of the National Central University, the highest institution of learning in the capital during the Republic of China———.

Here, Guan Lu and poetry have formed an indissoluble relationship, for the carrier text of the old society, the new poem is even more fascinating to Guan Lu, she said: "The things that can load my bottom life mood and express my bottom emotions are like Guo Moruo and Xu Zhimo, free and novel words and sentences, not those old things that limit words and rhymes."

In 1931, Guan Lu actively participated in the expulsion of Li Mary, a Chinese professor who stayed in the United States, which aroused the disgust of zhu Jiahua, the president at the time, and soon after, Guan Lu was expelled from the school.

This is a bad thing for Guan Lu, but also a good thing, she can't continue to study, she can choose the future path again.

Guan Lu came to Shanghai and joined the Shanghai Women's Anti-Japanese and Anti-Imperialist League, and a year later, she joined the Chinese Communist Party and became passionate about literature, becoming a stalwart of the Chinese Left-Wing Writers' Union.

At this time, Guan Lu created many poems that reflected the real lives of workers, she praised life, publicized revolutionary ideas, Guan Lu believed: "All literary and artistic writers should stand on the united front of salvation and create national defense literature that saves the nation and resists the enemy of the nation." ”

During the "128 Incident" in Shanghai, Guan Lu and Ding Ling, the head of the Left League, braved the rain of bullets and bullets to put up anti-Japanese slogans on the street to collect donations for the rescue of the wounded soldiers and go to the front line to comfort the wounded soldiers.

The Lugou Bridge Incident in 1937 led to the outbreak of a full-scale war of resistance.

In the face of the country's peril, Guan Lu's creative passion reached its peak, she wrote patriotic poems many times, and during this period, due to her great achievements in literature, Guan Lu was called a talented woman on the beach.

At this time, when the nation was at its most perilous, Guan Lu chose a difficult and dangerous road in his own life fork in the road.

In 1939, Guan Lu received a telegram: Go to Hong Kong to find Xiao Liao, which Was sent to him by Ye Jianying.

Guan Lu came to Hong Kong and met Liao Chengzhi and Pan Hannian, who, on behalf of the party organization, gave Guan Lu an important task, to go to the "No. 76" of the Secret Service of the Wang puppet government to do the work of plotting rebellion, and the person who wanted to plot the rebellion was the person in charge of No. 76, Li Shiqun.

Li Shiqun had joined the Communist Party of China in the early years, and when he was carrying out underground activities in Shanghai, Li Shiqun was arrested by the enemy, and later defected and became a Kuomintang agent, and during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, he rebelled and became a Japanese puppet traitor.

After defecting to the Japanese Kou, Li Shiqun also wanted to leave a way back for himself, so he found the Communist Party of China, and the party organization conditionally established some kind of contact with it, striving to make it a crime and provide Japanese and false intelligence.

At that time, Li Shiqun chose an intermediary, this person was named Hu Xiufeng, who was Guan Lu's sister.

When Li Shiqun was imprisoned in his early years, Hu Xiufeng took in his wife and took good care of her, so Li Shiqun and his wife were very grateful to Hu Xiufeng, because Hu Xiufeng was doing the work of the upper echelons of the Kuomintang at that time, and it was difficult to get out for a while.

Guan Lu, who was the older sister, was chosen.

For the danger and arduousness of this job, Guan Lu thought about it, she gladly accepted, Pan Hannian specially instructed her: "In the future, if someone says that you are a traitor, you can't defend, if you want to defend, it will be bad."

Although Guan Lu had made all the preparations at that time, she did not expect that the wind and rain would be much greater than she thought.

Back in Shanghai, Guan Lu became the "guest" of Li Shiqun's family, lurking around Li Shiqun at that time, Guan Lu underwent a lot of social pressure, and some of her former friends said that they would break off relations with her and insulted her as a traitor.

In 1941, Guan Lu and Li Shiqun had a key conversation, and Li Shiqun expressed his willingness to cooperate with the Chinese Communist Party.

In 1942, Pan Hannian met with Li Shiqun, and from then on Li Shiqun began to provide intelligence to the New Fourth Army.

After the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Zeng Shan, then director of the Organization Department of the Central China Branch of the CPC Central Committee, told Guan Lu: "Because you successfully completed Li Shiqun's counter-rebellion work, Li Shiqun later did a lot of work for us. For example, when the Japanese devils wanted to come to 'Qingxiang', Li Shiqun informed us in advance and told us of the enemy's plan of action; when we were to pass through the blockade line, Li Shiqun ordered the puppet army to be transferred to make way for us; he protected and released some Communists and progressives who had been arrested by Japanese and puppet agents into 'No. 76'; Li Shiqun used his authority to issue special passes and sent people to escort some important cadres of our party through the enemy's blockade line; covered the New Fourth Army's transportation of rice, medical equipment, medicines, and other materials into the base areas, and so on."

After 1942, Guan Lu's work changed, and the party organization gave her a new task to serve as the editor of the magazine "Female Voice".

Female Voice is a Chinese magazine jointly organized by the Consulate General of Japan in Shanghai and the Japanese Marine Corps Reporting Department (i.e., the Ministry of Intelligence) aimed primarily at Chinese female readers for cultural aggression.

After Guan Lu came to the magazine office, she dressed herself as a literary and artistic youth who only loved the wind and snow and did not ask about current affairs and politics, and she often discussed hot issues in the daily life of the people with readers and publicized the progressive ideas of women's liberation.

In 1943, Guan Lu went to Tokyo to participate in the "Great East Asian Literary Congress", which meant that Guan Lu's identity as a "traitor to the Han Dynasty" was completely made public, but Guan Lu wanted to refuse, but Pan Hannian told her to seize this opportunity and give a letter to Professor Akita of Tokyo Imperial University to help Okano Jin, the leader of the Japanese Communist Party in China at the time, to re-establish contact with the Japanese Communist Party.

At this "conference", Guan Lu's speech was titled "Cultural Exchange between Chinese and Japanese Women", in which Guan Lu said: "When I came to Japan, I had the opportunity to talk to Japanese women, but because I didn't understand each other's language, I had to speak English, which was very regrettable. In the future, it is hoped that women in China and Japan will learn each other's languages and be able to converse in their respective native languages. ”

Guan Lu did not use any language to raise the flag for Japan, and she maintained her principles to the best of her ability.

After the comprehensive victory of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Guan Lu was listed by the Kuomintang as a "traitor and literati" and was subjected to an "arrest warrant", for which the party organization quickly transferred Guan Lu, and from then on, Guan Lu ended his lurking career.

In 1955, due to the influence of Pan Hannian, Guan Lu was arrested and released two years later, and in 1967, she was arrested again until she was released from prison in 1975, by which time her spirit was already in trouble.

In 1982, Pan Hannian was rehabilitated.

Subsequently, the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee sent someone to read out the decision on rehabilitation to Guan Lu, who was lying on a hospital bed: Guan Lu's history has been clarified, and there is no problem of traitors. ...... Revoke and overthrow all slanderous and untrue words imposed on Comrade Guan Lu.

At this time, Guan Lu finally breathed a sigh of relief, she was worthy of the country and herself in this life.

After completing his memoirs, Guan Lu committed suicide by taking sleeping pills at the age of 75.

Guan Lu's life has created many literary classics and poetry classics, and the theme song "In the Spring" in the famous movie "Cross Street" was created by Guan Lu, "In the spring comes a hundred flowers, Lang Li Lang Li Gran, and the warm sun shines on my torn clothes in the sky..."
