In November, China's automobile sales data was freshly released. According to the data released by the Association of Passenger Vehicles, in November, the retail sales of passenger cars in the narrow sense in China were 1.816 million units, down 12.7% year-on-year and up 6% month-on-month; the cumulative sales from January to November were 18.041 million units, an increase of 6.1% year-on-year.

In the SUV segment, retail sales in November were 841,000 units, down 12.6% y/y and up 7% month-on-month. From January to November, the company sold 8.261 million units, up 5% y/y.
In the top 15 SUV sales list in November, independent brands occupy 7 seats, compared with last month, the ranking of the top 5 has not changed much, of which there are 4 independent brands: Haval H6, BYD Song, Changan CS75 and Changan CS55 several star models.
In the list of high-end SUV sales, the Tesla Model Y ranks first with a score of 23,000 units, which is not surprising. It is worth noting that in second place is our own brand model Ideal ONE, which has become a dark horse in the high-end SUV market. After the ideal ONE, there are the top three Germans: mercedes-Benz GRC, Audi Q5 and BMW X3. These traditional luxury brands are also deeply affected by this year's chip shortage, with a year-on-year decline of between 12% and 28% in November.
In the list of new energy SUVs, 8 models in the top 10 are products of Chinese brands, which shows that in the field of new energy vehicles, we occupy an absolute advantage. Among them, you can see the figure of many new car-making forces such as Ideal, Weilai, Xiaopeng, and Nezha. At the same time, bydir, Aian and other new energy brands with traditional car company backgrounds have also performed well, and BYD's three major car series of Song, Tang and Yuan have been listed.
Overall, in the SUV sector, independent brands have very bright results in many lists. In the field of new forces building cars, the first-mover advantage of independent brands has been fully demonstrated.
