Recently, the Office of the Leading Group for the Development and Promotion and Application of New Energy Automobile Industry in Kunming Issued the "Implementation Plan for the Promotion and Application of New Energy Cruise Taxis in the Five Districts of the Main City of Kunming" (hereinafter referred to as the "Plan"), which clearly states that from January 1, 2021 to April 30, 2022, if the fuel cruise taxi is updated (replaced in advance) as a new energy cruise taxi, the actual investor will be given an energy-saving and emission reduction incentive of 3245 yuan per car per month for a period of 2 years. Strive to achieve most of the pure electrification of cruise taxis in the five districts of the main city by December 31, 2022.
The "Plan" makes it clear that the work of replacing new energy vehicles by cruise taxis in the five districts of the main city will be carried out in the form of "consumption coupon incentives + energy conservation and emission reduction incentives".
In terms of coupon rewards
From January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021, cruise taxi operators in the five districts of the main city who renew (replace in advance) and add new energy vehicles will enjoy the consumption coupon reward of 40% of the record price of new energy cruise taxis. From January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2022, the implementation will be postponed, and you will enjoy the consumption coupon reward of 40% of the filing price of new energy cruise taxis.
In terms of energy saving and emission reduction incentives
Taking April 30, 2022 as the time node, the actual investors of the updated (early replacement) and new new energy cruise taxis will be given energy conservation and emission reduction incentives in the form of slope reduction.
From January 1, 2021 to April 30, 2022, if the existing fuel cruise taxi is updated (replaced in advance) as a new energy cruise taxi, the actual investor will be given an energy saving and emission reduction incentive of 3245 yuan per car per month for a period of 2 years.
From January 1, 2021 to April 30, 2022, if a new energy cruise taxi is added, the actual investor will be given an energy-saving and emission reduction incentive of 2,500 yuan per car per month for a period of 2 years.
From May 1, 2022 to December 31, 2022, if the existing fuel cruise taxi is updated (replaced in advance) for new energy vehicles, the actual investor will be given an energy-saving and emission reduction incentive of 2500 yuan per car per month for a period of 2 years.
The "Plan" also makes it clear that Kunming will improve the charging and replacing infrastructure. Led by the Municipal Development and Reform Commission, the people's governments of the five districts of the main city earnestly assume the main responsibility for promoting the construction of new energy cruise taxi charging and replacing infrastructure, and build a special supporting replacement power station for no less than 40 new energy cruise taxis. Automobile manufacturers (dealers) promise that the warranty period of the vehicle battery providing power is not less than 8 years, and other quality problems shall bear legal responsibilities such as repair, replacement, return, compensation for losses, etc. in accordance with the law, and be included in the automobile sales contract.
