The Kuomintang general, arrested for speaking an idiom, lived to be 102 years old and made a request

The life of the Kuomintang general Zheng Yunxia is legendary. From 1927, when Chiang Kai-shek ruled China, to 1949, Chiang Kai-shek relied mainly on two magic weapons to maintain his rule: one was his "Central Army" and the other was his secret service agency. And for too long, there has been a sensitive state between the military and the secret service: the agent is responsible for supervising the army, and the army despises the agent. The legend of Zheng Yunxia lies in the fact that he was a General who had both been a combat unit and a Kuomintang general who had been a secret agent.

During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Zheng Yunxia took the lead as a soldier, and his attitude and will to resist the war were admired. After the end of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Zheng Yunxia was appreciated by Chiang Kai-shek and was transferred by Chiang Kai-shek to the secret service to engage in secret service activities. From this point on, Zheng Yunxia began to be heavily indebted: the famous "Cangbaitang Incident" and the "School Field Mouth Blood Case" were written by him. In 1949, Chiang Kai-shek's regime collapsed, and Zheng Yunxia knew that he had committed too many sins in recent years, so he desperately resisted.

However, under the general situation, the rabble-rousers gathered by Zheng Yunxia were wiped out by our army within a few rounds. Zheng Yunxia, who became the commander of the light pole and was abandoned by Chiang Kai-shek, became a dog that lost his family. Zheng Yunxia heard that after the Kuomintang 93rd Division was defeated by our army, the remnants fled to Burma and still divided a base area in Burma, so he had the idea of going to Burma. However, because our side attaches great importance to the ties between the remnants of the Kuomintang in northern Myanmar and the country, for Zheng Yunxia, going to Burma is as unrealistic as going to Taiwan. In desperation, Zheng Yunxia had to flee everywhere.

Eventually, he settled down in the irrigation town of Guizhou. The whole province of Guizhou is dominated by mountains and hills, and its economy is relatively backward. Zheng Yunxia saw the advantage of the news blockage, so he hid his name in Guizhou and lived in anonymity. Because Zheng Yunxia is good at disguise, the local grassroots regime not only did not discover Zheng Yunxia's true identity, but instead characterized him as a poor person. At first, Zheng Yunxia did not forget to flee to Taiwan, but after a long time, after adapting to the life of the villagers, he also planned to live like this.

In 1958, the eighth year of Zheng Yunxia's establishment in Guizhou, Zheng Yunxia once chatted with someone and inadvertently said the idiom of "flying away". This aroused the suspicion of the village leaders - because Zheng Yunxia's origin was unknown, and he claimed that he only knew a few words, then Zheng Yunxia's knowledge structure was absolutely impossible to say this word. So the village leader secretly reported the matter to the local public security organs.

In the end, after investigation, the public security organs determined the identity of Zheng Yunxia and arrested him - unfortunately, Zheng Yunxia was actually arrested because his education level was too high, and he exposed his identity. The people's government sentenced Zheng Yunxia to 15 years in prison and pardoned him in 1975. Zheng Yunxia died in 2009 at the age of 102. Before his death, Zheng Yunxia never forgot the Chongqing school entrance: he said that he wanted to go to the school entrance and express his remorse.
