Zheng Yunxia was born in 1907 in Linchuan, Jiangxi Province, to a family of eunuchs, the son of Zheng Zongyao, who graduated from Tokyo Imperial University and was a member of the League. After returning to China, he was appointed to the Grand Marshal's Office of Sun Yat-sen. After Zheng Yunxia grew up, he entered the law department of Shanghai Law School, and later was admitted to the fourth phase of the Whampoa Military Academy. After the Outbreak of the Northern Expedition, Zheng Yunxia participated in the Northern Expedition and served as a captain judge in He Yingqin's First Military Justice Department.
After the Northern Expedition, Zheng Yunxia was appreciated by the CC departments of Chen Lifu and Chen Guofu brothers with the two excellent diplomas of Shanghai Law School and Huangpu Military Academy, and became an agent of the Central Unification. During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Zheng Yunxia also participated in the bloody battle with the Japanese army. During the Battle of Taierzhuang, he led a political work team to support the front line and defendEdeng County until reinforcements arrived. When he witnessed the heroic martyrdom of the famous anti-Japanese general Wang Mingzhang, he also changed Yue Fei's "Man Jiang Hong" with hatred and vowed to fight with little Japan to the end.

After Chiang Kai-shek's defeat in Taiwan, Zheng Yunxia, as a special commissioner of the Kuomintang Central Committee, was ordered to burn all confidential documents and withdraw from Chongqing. At that time, there were three places for Zheng Yunxia to choose from, one was Taiwan, the other was Hainan, which had not yet been liberated, and the third was the Golden Triangle region of Myanmar, where the remnants of the Kuomintang were active.
Zheng Yunxia's first choice for fleeing was Taiwan, and to escape to Taiwan, he could only go to Chengdu and take the last outlaw flight. When Zheng Yunxia arrived in Chengdu with great painstaking efforts, Chengdu was liberated. The goal of fleeing to Taiwan is unrealistic, Hainan is also relatively far away, and it is difficult to reach across thousands of mountains and rivers, so Zheng Yunxia took the Golden Triangle region of Myanmar as his last place of escape. First, he had accompanied the Chinese Expeditionary Force on missions in that area. Second, Li Mi, a remnant officer of the Kuomintang Eighth Army, who was stationed there, was an old acquaintance with him.
In order to cope with the long escape journey, Zheng Yunxia decided to exchange all the money for "Yuan Datou", who was both eye-catching and freely exchangeable. As a result, when he was selling silver dollars, he was arrested by the People's Liberation Army. Zheng Yunxia, with many years of experience as a secret agent, disguised himself as a timber merchant and successfully escaped the disaster. Later, during his absconding, he was also captured by bandits. Fortunately, he knew the "black words" of his brother and came out of the bandit's den alive. When he was a small worker in the Fuling vegetable squeezing factory, he was suspicious of his superiors because he was not cautious in speaking. The alert Zheng Yunxia immediately fled to the town of Maoshui in Wuchuan County, Guizhou Province.
Choosing this place in Maoshui, Zheng Yunxia is well thought out. Located at the junction of Sichuan and Qianqian provinces, this place has only one T-shaped stone slab street, and the number of people is no more than 2,000, and there is little contact with the outside world. However, there are often some freight men, traveling doctors, and shouting and selling in the streets. So at the end of 1950, Maoshui Town had an extra grocery man named "Liu Zhenggang", specializing in selling various small department stores such as needles and threads, combs, and matches.
With the acquaintance with the local residents, more and more people began to like this grocery man. He is "loyal" to people, things are good and cheap, and whenever there is a New Year's festival, everyone will call "Liu Zhenggang" to his home for warm hospitality. And the simple villagers could hardly imagine that the person in front of them was Zheng Yunxia, a senior agent of the Kuomintang Central Unification. When China carried out land reform, Liu Zhenggang took advantage of the cover of the landlord He Da Niang and his neighbors and was successfully rated as a "poor peasant".
But he knew that he was a middle-aged man, childless, childless, and had no family, and it was difficult not to make people associate himself here suddenly. In order to confirm his identity, Zheng Yunxia met Shao Chunlan, a Shandong woman, under the introduction of others, and married her. In 1956, the whole country began to engage in private transformation and cooperation, and Zheng Yunxia was elected to the county to study because he went south and north and had a wide range of knowledge. Upon his return, he was first assigned to the canteen as an accountant and later to a public-private shop.
In fact, at that time, many people already noticed that Zheng Yunxia was not the same as foreign tourist merchants and cargo men. He declared himself a "first literate." As a result, the old accountant in the canteen only taught him to play abacus for one day, and he could play the addition, subtraction, multiplication and division very smoothly the next day. He said he had no culture, but one day people heard the idiom "fly away" from his mouth. Later, the superior became alert and called the police to arrest Zheng Yunxia. Zheng Yunxia, who had fled for 8 years, was arrested. He also became the last Kuomintang general to be arrested and arrested in the Chinese mainland. Later, Zheng Yunxia was sentenced to 15 years in prison, and after his release from prison, he changed his mind, became a middle school teacher, and devoted himself to cross-strait reunification in his special capacity, until his death in 2009 at the age of 102.
