It turned out that this person had been a Kuomintang agent, and the gunmen were Chongqing public security personnel.
After liberation, he secretly changed his identity several times, hid everywhere, and arrested him after eight years, but the head of the secret service who was hard to catch was not sentenced to death by law, but instead made him a member of the CPPCC National Committee.
This person's name is Zheng Yunxia, born in 1907, his ancestral home is Jiangxi, and he graduated from the fourth phase of the Whampoa Military Academy.
After the Outbreak of the Northern Expedition, he joined the Northern Expedition and served as a captain judge in He Yingqin's First Military Justice Division.
After graduation, he was favored by the CC faction organized by the Kuomintang Chen Lifu and Chen Guofu brothers at that time, and soon he joined it and became the former Kuomintang Central Unification Agent.
In 1938, the Great Battle of Taierzhuang broke out, Zheng Yunxia supported the front line, actively resisted Japan, witnessed the scene of the heroic martyrdom of wang Mingzhang, a famous anti-Japanese general, who was shot in the abdomen more than 30 times, in order to express his inner anger and determination to resist the war, Zheng Yunxia rewrote Yue Fei's "Manjiang Hong" with hatred:
"The shame of aggression, the snow of Juwei, the hatred of the nation, when to extinguish, driving a long car to break through the lack of Mt. Fuji, the ambition to eat the meat of the slaves, laughing and talking about thirsting for Oriental blood, waiting to exalt the prestige of our nation from the beginning, new China!"
Zheng Yunxia made contributions during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, but after the war, the secret agent Zheng Yunxia returned to his old business and began to run in the major anti-communist secret service activities, including the "Chongqing School Mouth Blood Case" and "Cangbaitang Incident" that shocked China and foreign countries, and he was the commander and participant of the scene.
In 1946, people from all walks of life in Chongqing gathered in the auditorium of the school to celebrate the smooth convening of the CPPCC meeting, and Zheng Yunxia led several large and small spies to mix among them.

After the founding of New China, he fled in a hurry, because he joined the Central Unification for more than ten years, he has received various secret agent training, in addition to interrogation, psychological warfare, terrorist operations, but also good at professional disguise, so during the absconding period he constantly looked for new disguised identities, anonymity, lurked in Chongqing and Guizhou for eight years.
When he was in the remote town of Maoshui in Chongqing, in order not to be detected by the locals, he thought about starting a family and living a normal life like other ordinary people, so when he was 45 years old, he chose to marry a woman named Shao Chunlan.
Shao Chunlan's timely appearance made Zheng Yunxia, who had experienced war and wandering, feel a little comfort, and later Zheng Yunxia also said that his marriage with Shao Chunlan was an arrangement of fate.
He thought he could spend the rest of his life in anonymity, but in the end the paper could not hold the fire.
In fact, soon after this outsider came to Maoshui, the local residents had already discovered his extraordinary, according to the old residents of Maoshui Street, "Liu Zhenggang" (Zheng Yunxia pseudonym) had always claimed that he was illiterate, but when he was taught to plan the disk, he would not do anything on the first day, and the next day he could skillfully use the abacus to calculate addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, and these abnormal actions attracted the attention of others.

At this point, Zheng Yunxia's eight-year wandering career of trembling and hiding in Tibet came to an end.
On December 22, 1958, a public trial meeting of 10,000 people was held in Chongqing, and Zheng Yunxia was sentenced.
At first, Zheng Yunxia was sentenced to death, but in the final sentence, the sentence was changed to 15 years in prison, which surprised Zheng Yunxia so much that even he himself thought: "Not killing me is not enough for the people to be indignant."
The party's lenient treatment of him, Zheng Yunxia's heart developed infinite gratitude to the party and the state, which also made him actively reform through labor in prison and repent of his mistakes.
After being released from prison, Zheng Yunxia changed his mind, became a person again, and worked hard to repay the society.
In 1981, the CPPCC Wuchuan County Committee was established, Zheng Yunxia became a CPPCC member, once a vicious agent, now transformed into a CPPCC member, such a sharp contrast, so that the world is very emotional.
Zheng Yunxia also knows in his heart that only by sincerely being a citizen and doing a good job in the affairs of CPPCC members can he live up to the tolerance and trust of the party and the people.
Zheng Yunxia, who regained his new life, actively worked, just began to write literary and historical materials to publicize Taiwan, later wrote manuscripts for major publications, and also wrote his own personal experience into the book, truthfully unveiling the various crimes committed by the middle-aged child, and this book had a great impact when it came out.
In the past ten years, Zheng Yunxia has been writing continuously, writing about the past with words, and publishing many articles of historical value.
In 2005, the 60th anniversary of the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, at a celebratory tea party, Zheng Yunxia, who was nearly a hundred years old, also trembled and cried tears in his eyes and made a warm speech: "In my life, I have gone through all the vicissitudes of the world, and the War of Resistance has been victorious, but so far Taiwan has not yet been reunified.
It can be seen that although this centenarian is old and futuo, he is still determined to go a thousand miles.
On July 10, 2009, 102-year-old Zheng Yunxia completed his legendary life.
