The Burmese civil war was largely caused by its historical legacy. There are four main reasons: First, Myanmar was under British colonial rule for a long time. Fourthly, the proliferation of drugs cannot be controlled. The most famous is the Golden Triangle, where the drug trade is almost unrepressed, and the rampant drug epidemic has made it difficult for The Burmese to reach a consensus for the sake of interests, and the Golden Triangle has become an international public nuisance. Myanmar's civil war has been going on for nearly 60 years, and it is still difficult to see signs of peace, and the perverse actions of Burma's rulers can only allow Myanmar to kill itself.
