Xixiang beef jerky has been known as Sanqin since ancient times, and is a convenient delicacy for wine banquets, entertaining guests and tourism, and a treasure for relatives and friends. Since 1981, it has been continuously rated as a high-quality food in Shaanxi Province. In the 1983 Food Competition of the Ministry of Commerce of China, the total score exceeded the standard issued by the Ministry.
