This is the first approved national geographical indication protection product in the county, which has achieved a breakthrough of zero in this field in Xixiang County, and the county's work of promoting brand strong counties has achieved new results.
It is reported that since 2012, the county has launched the protection of "Xixiang beef jerky" geographical indication products, from the establishment of the declaration work leading group, delineation of the scope of protection of the place of origin, the submission of protection applications and other aspects of the declaration of the "Xixiang beef jerky" geographical indication protection products, and in November 2017 officially passed the technical review of the National Expert Committee.
