In order to standardize the business behavior of beef jerky and other meat products, severely crack down on malicious confusion, shoddy and other violations of laws and regulations, eliminate potential food safety hazards to the greatest extent, and protect the legitimate rights and interests of consumers, on April 8, the Narisong Market Supervision and Management Office of the Zhungerqi Market Supervision and Administration Bureau carried out a special rectification action for beef jerky and other meat products in Narisong Town.
The special rectification focuses on small and medium-sized supermarkets, dairy food stores, ethnic specialty food stores, beef jerky and other meat product sellers, and checks whether the operators strictly implement the certificate and ticket system, whether the business qualification is legal and valid, whether the appearance and quality of food labels meet the requirements, whether duck, chicken, pork or other meat are used to pass off beef, whether the factory name and address, production date and shelf life are indicated, whether adulteration, fake and other violations of laws and regulations. In response to the problems found in the on-site inspection, such as the non-standard price identification label, the market regulators required the operators to immediately rectify in accordance with laws and regulations, and signed the "Beef Jerky Standardized Business Commitment", issued the "Beef Jerky Standard Business Code" poster and beef jerky zoning signs, and urged merchants to sell beef jerky in different areas, and pasted the "Beef Jerky Standard Business Code" in a conspicuous position in the store. A total of more than 20 copies of the "Beef Jerky Standardized Operation Commitment" were signed in this inspection.
