Jingchu Network News (reporter Wang Chun) On April 12, the Provincial Federation of Trade Unions awarded the "Wang Peng Innovation Studio" of the Hubei Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau that was selected as the Hubei Provincial Workers' (Labor Model) Innovation Studio.
"Wang Peng Innovation Studio" is led by Comrade Wang Peng, a technical expert of the technical center of the bureau and a member of the Food And Health Science Popularization Committee of the Provincial Health and Family Planning Commission, and a total of 25 other experts in the technology center and the front-line technical backbone of the testing. Focusing on the food safety work in our province, they carried out food safety testing technology research, innovative achievements transformation and application, standard revision, technical exchanges and training, etc., and actively provided testing services to the society through testing cooperation with the Provincial Food and Drug Administration, the Provincial Health and Family Planning Commission, the Provincial Sports Bureau, the Provincial Department of Education and other departments, making outstanding contributions to promoting the economic and trade development of Hubei Province and safeguarding the rights and interests of consumers in food safety.

In the past three years, "Wang Peng Innovation Studio" has undertaken 11 national, provincial and ministerial scientific research projects, 8 national, industry and local standards, and obtained and is applying for 8 domestic and foreign patents. Among them, 16 scientific research projects have reached the international advanced level, the domestic leading level and the domestic advanced level, and 16 scientific research achievements have won the third prize of the State Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, the first and second prizes of Hubei Provincial Science and Technology Progress, and the first and second prizes of Wuhan Science and Technology Progress.
Zhang Xiaohua, director of the Technical Cooperation Office of the Provincial Federation of Trade Unions, encouraged the "Wang Peng Innovation Studio" to continue to explore and innovate, give full play to the radiation leadership and demonstration leadership role of the employee (labor model) innovation studio, and make new contributions to promoting the implementation of the innovation-driven development strategy in our province.

In August 2017, it passed the qualification recognition of 17020 inspection agencies and newly expanded the dangerous goods testing capabilities, filling the gap of local shipping dangerous goods inspection and appraisal institutions in Hubei, solving the chronic disease that dangerous goods had to be mailed to Guangzhou or Shanghai for inspection in the past, and promoting the dangerous goods shipping industry in Hubei to truly enter the fast era.
4. Emphasize public welfare
It has provided testing service support for major events such as the Tangyou Cup Badminton Championship and the Wuhan International Horse Racing Festival held in Wuhan, and has provided testing services for the Provincial Sports Bureau in the field of athlete food safety for a long time. In July 2017, it was awarded the Hubei Provincial Athlete Food Safety Designated Laboratory by the Provincial Sports Bureau to deepen cooperation in the field of athlete food safety and anti-doping.
5. Strong quality
It has provided testing technical support for the relevant departments of our province to investigate and deal with smuggled beef and adulterated mutton, and has participated in assisting the Wuhan Food and Drug Administration to complete the testing and appraisal of the disputed results for many times. In April 2017, entrusted by the National Aquatic Products Station, he assisted the local fishery department in Buyang, Anhui Province, to deal with the sudden fish disease epidemic at the scene.
