China Railway High-tech Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. will settle in Xinjin in September 2023 to build a manufacturing base for shield machine/TBM machine production, bridge steel structure and hydraulic steel structure. It is expected that after the project is completed and put into operation, it will achieve an annual production of 11 shield machines, 50,000 tons of steel structures, 50 sets of special equipment for tunnel construction, achieve an annual output value of more than 1.8 billion yuan, and drive the employment of more than 1,000 people.
Xinjin road and bridge components industry originated in the nineties of the last century, driven by the former Ministry of Communications directly under the enterprise - Xinjin Road Construction Machinery Factory, a large number of technologies and talents gathered in Xinjin, developed into a private road and bridge components enterprise. In recent years, it has gathered about 40 high-quality enterprises such as Xinzhu Co., Ltd., Shuangjian Road and Bridge, Xinjian Road and Bridge, Hongtu Road and Bridge, etc., covering bridge bearings, shield segments and other products, forming a road and bridge component industrial cluster integrating "bridge + tunnel + track", with an annual output value of 6 billion yuan. Among the member enterprises of the association, there are 3 expert academician workstations, 10 municipal and above enterprise technology centers and industrial design centers, 10 high-tech enterprises, 3 provincial high-growth enterprises, and 4 provincial-level specialized and special new enterprises.
