Above the blue sky, the clouds are rolling up
In this wonderful season
More than 300 teachers and students from Luhe Primary School walked into the Dahongshan Meteorological Park
Through the picture scroll of the storm
Appreciate the rhythm of nature
Draw wisdom from the ocean of meteorological knowledge
Seek the truth from the practice of field observation
Together, we will pursue the mysteries of the ever-changing world
Feel the charm of science in the midst of thousands of meteorological conditions
Bathed in the early summer sunshine, the students lined up neatly and embarked on a research trip full of joy and longing.
Stroll through the White Dragon Pond
Bailong Pond is lush with vegetation, surrounded by mountains, walking through the maple poplar forest with dry and curved branches, enjoying the sparkling lake, the students linger in the beautiful scenery, and record the beautiful moments between teachers and classmates with photos. The tutor took water samples along the river on foot, and used test strips to detect the PH value and nitrite of Bailongchi water quality on the spot.
Explore the Cave of the Two Kings
When I came to the Liangwang Cave, I realized that it had taken hundreds of millions of years of geological action to form such a spectacular karst cave, and the students became little explorers one by one to explore the secrets of growing underground. "It turns out that these stalactites take so long to form, and the average growth is about 0.08 mm a year!" As soon as a student came out, he couldn't wait to share his harvest with his classmates.
Meteorological lessons
The meteorological knowledge class is composed of classroom teaching, handicraft, and outdoor experience, and the instructor combines the geographical and climatic characteristics of Dahong Mountain to let students understand the role of air pressure and the formation of clouds and rainfall. Under the guidance of the teacher, the students worked together to complete the production of the weather vane and ginkgo bookmark.
Observe the louver box, rain gauge, wind vane and other meteorological measuring instruments up close, and understand their working principles, so that students can truly combine theory and practice, explore rich meteorological knowledge in the walking classroom, feel the "wind and cloud changes" at zero distance, and explore the secret of "observing clouds and measuring rain".
Trace Museum
Embark on a new path and look for the old. Walking into the Dahongshan Revolutionary Exhibition Hall, the precious data pictures, the arduous revolutionary history, and the treasured red objects led the students to follow the footprints of history, feel the war years filled with gunpowder, relive the red time, remember the history, and cherish today.
This meteorological research activity integrates scientific, educational, participatory and ornamental, which not only makes the children feel the fun and infinite charm of meteorological science, but also plants a seed of meteorological science in the hearts of the children. It improves students' innovative thinking and problem-solving ability, plants the seeds of scientific exploration and practice in the hearts of students, and imperceptibly lights up the students' dream of becoming a strong country in science and technology.
