On May 13, the launching ceremony of the 2024 Jiangnan District Social Science Popularization Week was held at the Suwei Community Cultural Square in Suwei Town. The purpose of the activity is to popularize social science knowledge to the general public, improve scientific literacy, create a strong atmosphere of attaching importance to social sciences, and let more social science knowledge "fly into the homes of ordinary people" through diversified publicity forms and rich activity content.
At the launching ceremony, the wonderful activities of "literature and art + preaching + calligraphy" attracted the masses to stop and watch. Lin Chenli, a student from Suwei Town Central School, shared the popular science with a sense of immersion and interaction, and won bursts of applause from the audience. The New Era Civilization Practice Volunteer Service Team of the Suwei Town People's Government and the Suwei Town Health Center carried out micro-propaganda on the spot to forge the sense of community of the Chinese nation, the excellent traditional Chinese culture, and the reading of the whole people, and presented an intimate science popularization package to the audience.
Nong Youtian, the former principal of Jiamian Primary School in Suwei Town, taught calligraphy on the spot, and wrote social science with pen and ink, so that everyone could feel the beauty of art, learn social science knowledge, and strengthen cultural self-confidence.
The activity site also set up a question and answer session for social science knowledge, the masses actively participated, competed to answer, and the atmosphere was lively, which further deepened the understanding of the masses of social science knowledge and stimulated the enthusiasm of the masses for learning.
"Doctor, can you help me see, does my blood pressure matter?" At the free clinic booth at the health center, Aunt Su, a resident, consulted with the doctors of the health center. "A healthy lifestyle includes not smoking, drinking less alcohol, exercising regularly, and eating a reasonable diet."
"Receiving text messages similar to high-paying swiping, easy to get rich, contact and add WeChat or QQ number, etc., we should do this......" The event site also carried out policy theory publicity, rural revitalization, laws and regulations, safety construction, traffic safety, civil affairs, health and social science knowledge publicity and other consulting services and free clinic services, through the face-to-face publicity of volunteers, to provide the masses with rich social science knowledge and feel the popular science services.
It is reported that in this social science popularization week, Jiangnan District will also organize relevant staff to go deep into villages (communities), schools, enterprises, etc. to carry out a series of activities such as science popularization and micro-propaganda cloud classrooms, so as to create a good atmosphere for the whole society to participate in the popularization of social sciences through the "clever matching" of social science dinner.
