In order to thoroughly implement the requirements of the "Implementation Opinions of the Nanjing Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Nanjing Municipal People's Government on Comprehensively Strengthening Labor Education in Universities, Primary and Secondary Schools and Kindergartens in the New Era" and the "Notice on Carrying out the "Labor Education Week" Activities in Nanjing Primary and Secondary Schools and Kindergartens in 2024" issued by the Nanjing Municipal Education Bureau, and promote the in-depth development of labor education in the city of "Jinling Baby, Let's Work Together", the Primary School Affiliated to Jiangsu Second Normal University has carried out a labor education week practice activity with the theme of "Smart Labor, Happy Growth".

1. "Vegetables" are fragrant on campus

In late spring and early summer, everything grows. In order to let students understand the growth process of plants and experience the joy of labor. Lo and behold, the Hope Plantation attached to the Elementary School of the Normal School is full of scenes of students busy working.

The compacted land and lush weeds can't stop our pace and enthusiasm for work. Seeing everyone show their weapons one after another, wielding hoes and shovels, they eliminated the "enemies" one by one. Plant a touch of green, overflowing a piece of spring. The students have a clear division of labor and move quickly: you pile the soil, I dig the pit; This one supports the seedlings, and that person fills the soil. Everyone tacitly cooperated, and the delicate seedlings were "safely moved into the new home" by dividing them by two.

Sweating, we took the first step to success. The conservation journey of planting has just begun, and we believe that the little caregivers will take care of the growth of the seedlings.

2. The observation record is amazing

This semester, the school's Moral Education Office has tailored a new planting observation manual for each class, which contains tips for maintaining exclusive crops. Every week, the plant keepers of each class are required to complete a plant observation record and write a diary of the observation and planting. Observation is one of the ways for children to learn knowledge and develop their abilities, and under the guidance of teachers, students learned to make simple planting observation records. Through their own small eyes, the growth and changes of the seeds they see are simply recorded in a graphic way in the record book, and through direct perception, personal experience, and actual operation, they not only cultivate their hands-on ability, but also let them harvest happiness in labor.

Practice labor education and infiltrate from the campus.
