Recently, Linquan County No. 6 Middle School held a series of parent lectures on mental health education for minors in the school conference room. Wang Xiaojing, a national third-level psychological counselor and part-time psychology teacher of Fufang Primary School in Fuyang City, was invited to give a lecture entitled "Family Education Code" to the parents of eighth-grade students. Principal Tian Yonghua presided.
Through telling real-life cases, Ms. Wang conveyed to parents the importance of teaching by example and better methods and skills to communicate with their children, and encouraged parents to establish good communication habits with their children in daily life.
Mr. Wang also focused on the point of view of communication level, telling everyone from five levels that the so-called long-term relationship is no longer simply using communication skills, but relying on character to gain the trust of others, making it easy for others to forgive the parties or be persuaded by the parties. Parents can better understand their children's needs and ideas, find out their children's problems in a timely manner, and give guidance and help; Children can communicate with their parents more confidently, express their emotions and ideas, and promote a harmonious and friendly relationship between parents and children.
During the lecture, Mr. Wang's language was vivid and powerful, and he interacted frequently with parents, and even moved his own personal experience to the scene, allowing parents to experience and think, and achieved twice the result with half the effort.
Parents and teachers listened very carefully and actively participated in the interaction. They also said that they benefited a lot from this lecture and will actively use the communication skills they have learned to create a more harmonious family environment for the healthy growth of children.
