On May 8, the Cyberspace Administration of the Foshan Municipal Party Committee officially issued the "Notice on the Achievements of the Construction of Internet Civilization and Network Communication in 2023" (hereinafter referred to as the "Circular"), with a total of 156 achievements in 10 categories being notified.
In order to thoroughly study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important thoughts on cyber power and important expositions on the construction of spiritual civilization, implement the spirit of the provincial and municipal network security and informatization work conferences, and comprehensively promote the construction of network civilization, the second Foshan Internet Civilization Conference, sponsored by the Municipal Internet Information Office, the Municipal Civilization Office, the Municipal Education Bureau, and the Municipal Internet Industry Party Committee, has been successfully held recently, and the achievements of the 2023 network civilization construction and network communication construction generated by big data capture and analysis have been displayed. It has received active participation and enthusiastic response from all districts, departments, units and all walks of life.
The "Circular" pointed out that it is hoped that the units and individuals who have been notified will make persistent efforts, sum up experience, increase the publicity and promotion of advanced models, better play the leading role of work results, and continue to create and launch more high-quality online content with greater efforts.
The "Circular" requires that all relevant units in all districts and cities should actively learn from the practices and experiences of the notified units and individuals, combine their own realities, and take the initiative to participate in the 2024 "Enjoy the Four Seasons of Foshan" network theme series activities and the "E-network concentric escort growth" Foshan Youth Network Literacy Improvement Theme Activity, be a good "communicator" of network civilization with heart and affection, enhance the "soft power" of Foshan's network culture and the influence of network communication of the city's image, and create a clean and positive "ecosystem".
