Recently, the staff of the People's Procuratorate of the Evenki Autonomous Banner conducted on-the-spot visits and investigations to a number of residential communities within their jurisdiction, and found that some residential communities had electric vehicles illegally parked in public areas such as residents' stairwells, evacuation passages, corridor safety exits, and gas pipelines, and some residential buildings privately pulled wires to charge electric vehicles, and other illegal situations, and there were fire safety hazards that may affect social and public safety.
In order to trace the source of governance and completely solve the worries of the people, the People's Procuratorate of the Evenki Autonomous Banner issued pre-trial procuratorial suggestions for public interest litigation to the relevant administrative organs, urging the effective performance of regulatory duties, actively carrying out special rectification actions in the jurisdiction, timely dissuading and stopping illegal acts, completely eradicating fire safety hazards, and carrying out fire safety rule of law publicity and education activities to enhance the public's awareness of fire safety hazards.
After receiving the procuratorial suggestions, the relevant departments attached great importance to it, quickly carried out special rectification actions, investigated and dealt with illegal acts in a timely manner, and urged the property unit to make a warning sign of "prohibiting the parking of electric vehicles and sundries" and posted it in a conspicuous position at the entrance of the unit building, and carried out fire safety rule of law publicity activities.
Community fire safety is related to people's livelihood and well-being, and it is necessary to build a "firewall" of fire safety at all times. The People's Procuratorate of the Ewenki Autonomous Banner will carry out the procuratorial supervision of public interest litigation on fire safety of electric vehicles on a regular basis, increase supervision, urge relevant administrative organs to perform their duties in accordance with the law, and jointly promote the effectiveness of the rectification of potential safety hazards of electric vehicles in the jurisdiction, and contribute procuratorial wisdom to the comprehensive management of public safety.
