On the occasion of New Year's Day in 2024, the Cultural and Cultural Relics Service Center of Changdao Comprehensive Pilot Zone and the Second Experimental School jointly launched a series of activities of "Celebrating New Year's Day, Parent-Child Reading", which consists of parent-child reading and film exhibition.
During the parent-child reading activity, the library staff introduced the importance of parent-child reading to the participating families, and guided parents and children to choose their favorite books and accompany their children to read together. While parents and children read together, it promotes parent-child communication, cultivates children's good reading habits and interests to a certain extent, improves parents' ability to guide children's reading, and allows children and parents to share the fun of parent-child reading and feel the warmth of companionship.
