When I came to the 3D printing laboratory, a so-called "printer" could print a three-dimensional vase about the same height as a primary school student, and the workmanship was so fine that the children couldn't put it down; Passing by the art achievement exhibition, several metal pipes are intertwined, and they are also designed to be brilliant, showing a different vitality...... In the laboratory building of the College of Design and Innovation of Tongji University, the upper and lower three floors, large and small laboratories and exhibition halls, are full of works designed and produced by teachers and students of the school, such as book cards, craft ornaments, smart seats, and various cutting-edge "black technologies".
Under the guidance of the teachers of Tongji University, the community families are like a "visiting group", walking and watching all the way, and the scenes in front of them have opened the eyes of the children who came to visit. 11-year-old Dai Mingxi was very excited and exclaimed, "It's amazing inside, and I think many of the designs are particularly beautiful." ”
Subsequently, the community families also came to the Deep Sea Exploration Hall on the campus of Tongji University to appreciate the mysteries of the deep sea together in the fantastic audio-visual shock and the explanation of student volunteers. "What does the underwater world really look like?" "Is there life in the deep sea?" "How did they survive?" The children had a lot of questions, and the volunteers answered them one by one.
Mr. Zhang, a resident of Siping Road, brought his daughter to visit and gained a lot. In his opinion, walking, listening, watching, and learning at the same time, such "study tour" activities make children more able to participate in it. "It's much better for her to see it for herself than if we were to hold a book and tell her '100,000 whys.' For many parents, it is also a fresh experience to walk into colleges and universities again after many years and witness the rapid development of teaching equipment and academic achievements. In addition, in the Tongji University-MIT Shanghai Urban Science Laboratory, a "concentric circle" family education guidance course with the theme of "opening a new chapter - the psychological adaptation of children from primary school" was also opened on the same day, and Shen Junjia, the leader of psychology in Yangpu District, senior teacher of middle school, and deputy secretary of Tieling Middle School, was invited to give a lecture.
