On the afternoon of March 30, 2024, on the occasion of the Qingming Festival, Chang Yanrong, a young reporter from China Public Welfare Recorder Online, led by his parents and Ding Yulin, director of the Taizhou Workstation of China Public Welfare Recorder Online, drove more than 10 kilometers to the tomb of the martyrs of Changzuzhai in Taoqiao Group, Sanyang Village, Yanling Street, Taixing City, Jiangsu Province, to pay tribute to the martyrs of Changzuzhai who were buried here.
In order to commemorate the martyrs of Chang Zu Zhai, the Taixing Municipal People's Government built the Zu Zhai Bridge in the Taoqiao Group of Sanyang Village, Yanling Street, when Chang Yanrong and her parents stepped on the bridge, they found that the bridge was a new bridge, the bridge deck was set as 1 lane, north and south, across the east and west rivers in the village, the bridge deck was paved with cement concrete, and the guardrail of the bridge was replaced by angle iron, and the establishment of the Zuzhai Bridge had a profound educational significance for the normalization of the village to publicize the martyrs of Chang Zu Zhai.
Again, everyone came to the tomb of the martyr Changzuzhai, and her great-granddaughter Chang Yanrong wiped the dust on the tombstone with a rag, presented flowers to her great-grandfather Changzuzhai martyr, performed the Chinese Young Pioneers salute, and together with her parents and Director Ding Yulin, paid a three-minute silence to the martyr Changzuzhai, and took a group photo at the tomb of the martyr Changzuzhai.
Finally, we came to the second exhibition hall of the Taixing Revolutionary Martyrs Memorial Hall during the Anti-Japanese War Changzuzhai Martyrs Memorial Office, the flag reporter Chang Yanrong, to the martyrs to visit the masses, explained her grandfather Changzuzhai martyrs, during the Anti-Japanese War, acting Taixing County Party Secretary during the period of the Anti-Japanese War, due to the torture of long-term hard life and heavy revolutionary work, accumulated hard work, the story of his unfortunate death on March 17, 1944 deeply infected all the people present.
It is also understood that the martyr Changzuzhai, a native of Changcun Village, Chengxi Township, Taixing County, was born on November 23, 1903, participated in revolutionary work in 1935, and joined the Communist Party of China in 1939. Successively served as secretary of the Taixing Northeast District Committee of the Communist Party of China, head of the organization department of the county party committee, and acting secretary of the county party committee, due to the torture of long-term hard life and heavy revolutionary work, he became ill from hard work, and unfortunately died on March 17, 1944, at the age of 41.
Nowadays, the tomb of the martyrs of Changzuzhai is assigned by the service station of Sanyang Village, Yanling Street, Taixing City, and the general party branch and village committee of Sanyang Village, Yanling Street, Taixing City, offer wreaths or flowers to the tomb of the martyrs of Changzuzhai before and after the Qingming Festival every year.
Also participating in the memorial were Bao Xiaoyong, director of the Taixing Revolutionary Martyrs Memorial Hall, and Xu Zhaohong, a recorder of the Taizhou workstation of China Public Welfare Recorder Online.
