At the beginning of the spring of the Jiachen season, at the invitation of Mr. Nan Yuanjing of the Organizing Committee of this seminar, I was honored to participate in the trilogy of new novels of General Qu Quansheng with all the guests.
Military literature is a bright red battle flag in the garden of Chinese literature, and in the territory of contemporary Chinese literary history, the creation and discussion of military literature has always been a unique existence, and has formed a relatively stable and complete narrative discourse system in a certain historical context, such as the expression of war, campaign, army, military camp, soldiers, and so on. At a certain level, the writers who create military literature present a relatively unified "collective consensus" and form a completely new aesthetic paradigm with character characteristics and military literature.
"The great river flows day and night, and the generous song is not yang". The general's literary and artistic creation not only has the firm idea of "being strong despite thousands of blows, and letting the wind blow from east to west, north and south", but also has the lofty pursuit of "going up to a tall building alone and looking at the end of the world". Adhere to the people-centered development philosophy, observe the reality of the people's life, absorb the life nourishment of different groups, gather the value consensus of the people, and have the courage to create "down-to-earth" works that reflect the new style of socialist construction and development on the mainland. At the same time, it truly chews the taste of life, forms a unique vision and spirit, and embodies the essence of Chinese culture in vivid works.
As a young literary and artistic worker, I have been deeply influenced and infected by the general's true love words———— and only literary and artistic works rooted in the people and life can give people a sense of authenticity and vividness, and can they break through the practical dilemma that literary and artistic creation is "incompatible" with daily life, so that the people can be truly influenced by culture. In this way, literary and artistic work will be more affinity, vitality and appeal, and it will be more able to transform into a silent force, helping to build a solid foundation for the mainland's cultural soft power.
History is the unique memory of a nation, and culture is the blood of a nation.
As a soldier of the armed police who was once stationed at the Ali border pass in Tibet, I think it is not only a heavy honor to be able to participate in the seminar on the representative works of the novels of the generals of the Republic after retiring, but also the general's unlimited expectations and love and encouragement for the soldiers. I am proud because I have followed the heavenly road that the general has walked to realize the youthful ideals of young soldiers, and I am proud because I have also followed the glacier that the general crossed to the snow line to record the song of youth dedication praising the frontier defenders of the new era.
In the depths of my heart, the general's affectionate love is like a lighthouse, like a father's loving advice to guide me forward, at this moment, please accept the salute of a young soldier, and wish the general good health and fruitful creation!
