Mother's Day | they are mothers and brave "police blue" fighters

Put on the police uniform, they are the people's police, take off the police uniform, they are ordinary mothers. In the population management brigade of the Baiyun District Bureau of the Guangzhou Municipal Public Security Bureau, two-thirds of the police officers are female policemen, and more than one-third of them are dual-police families. In recent days, as a support police force, they have been fighting in the frontline of epidemic prevention and control. Today (May 8) is Mother's Day, and reporters connected with two "police flower mothers" stationed at the Baiyun District Public Security Sub-Bureau and the Frontline Command and the Isolation Hotel to listen to their stories of the war epidemic.

"Son, you are the bottom line of your mother's charge against the 'epidemic'"

From April 14, when he was stationed in the "Huangshi 06" grid in Jiangxia Village as the grid sheriff, to receiving instructions to support people and front-line command, Li Xiaosha, deputy captain of the population management brigade of the Baiyun District Bureau, only had one day off. On April 27, she seized the time to wash a bunch of clothes at home, and before the clothes could dry, she hurried to the front line of epidemic prevention the next morning with a duffel bag that had not yet had time to pack.

In the "Yellowstone 06" grid, there are more than 100 residential buildings and more than 5,000 residents. Li Xiaosha and 11 police officers are responsible for security prevention and control and order inspection in the jurisdiction to ensure that scientific control is in place.

The number of steps and the number of telephones are the two major characteristics of the grid police. During the 13 days of staying in the grid, Li Xiaosha had to walk back and forth more than 20,000 steps every day. This number of steps is common for her and her colleagues. Not only that, the phone calls of the police are continuous, "because the contact information we have released to the outside world is a mobile phone number to ensure that the epidemic prevention staff and residents can find people." ”

"Downstairs No. 1 to do nucleic acid, Building 2 please be prepared!" When it comes to large-scale nucleic acid testing, the police hold a "loud public" and shout according to the building, which is a common scene in the "Yellowstone 06" grid. There are also 2 volunteers at the intersection of each building to do a good job of reminding the service.

"The control area implements the practice of not leaving the district and taking things at the wrong peak, we must avoid crowds gathering as much as possible, and the village has also sent a lot of volunteers to help." Li Xiaosha said that this practice can not only save residents' waiting time, but also ensure that the nucleic acid testing point is in good order, the personnel are not piled up, and everyone keeps a 1-meter interval.

During that time, the police and volunteers in the grid often became "night porters". Taking advantage of the small number of people at night, they contacted the temporary distribution point of the supply and marketing cooperative, and transported the daily necessities such as fruits and vegetables, rice and flour grain and oil, milk, paper towels to the grid in a truck and then placed them. In this way, the next morning, after the residents went downstairs to do the nucleic acid test, they could take the groceries home.

After arriving at the People and Frontline Command, Li Xiaosha found that the intensity of the work here exceeded her expectations. "When I was a grid sheriff, although it was a 24-hour responsibility system, I could still go back to the district hotel to rest after 11 or 12 o'clock at night, but at the headquarters, especially in the first few days, we operated almost all night long, and we could only rest for two or three hours the next morning." She remembers that on the eve of "May Day", due to the influence of weather and other factors, the front-line police force faced many difficulties when on duty, and after receiving feedback from the situation, the command headquarters needed to resolve it at the first time.

With the overall improvement of the epidemic prevention and control situation, the number of overnight stays in the headquarters has gradually decreased. Still, it's busy: during the day, the phone rings one after another, and the police on duty constantly communicate to solve various urgent and difficult things; at night, lei held 2 regular meetings - the dispatch video meeting of the grid sheriff and the research and coordination meeting of the command.

"As far as the grid sheriff's working hours are concerned, the meeting generally starts at 22:00, and the two meetings often end at 1:00 a.m. the next day." Li Xiaosha said that recently she usually left work at 3 a.m. Her role in the command is equivalent to that of an "office" and works differently than in a grid, "tapping and tapping at computers and phones every day." ”

May 2 is the birthday of Li Xiaosha's son. "He sent a picture of the birthday cake, and I wrote a text message wishing him a happy birthday, telling him, 'You can take care of yourself now that you're older, and because of this, my mother has the courage to choose to charge the front line of the fight against the epidemic.'" Li Xiaosha said that this Mother's Day is very special, and the child sent blessings online.

"During this time, he would often send some news about the epidemic, and what he learned was related to the place where I worked, he would send it to me to show." The child's understanding and support made Li Xiaosha feel greatly relieved and encouraged.

"Baby don't cry, mom will go home with you after the virus"

"Hello, these daily necessities can be left here, and the staff will send them to the guests after sanitize." On the evening of May 7, Wu Hong, a police officer of the Population Management Brigade of the Baiyun District Bureau who was on duty at the isolation hotel, told the takeaway brother.

Late on the night of April 29, Wu Hong was awakened by the ringing of the telephone in her sleep and received the task of going to the quarantine hotel the next day. The next morning, before leaving the door, she hugged and kissed the baby who was still asleep.

From the front line of the household administration window to the isolation hotel, this change is a bit strange to Wu Hong. "In the morning, I seized the time to learn about the operation of the special class in the isolation hotel with the next class, and he took me to familiarize myself with the working environment." Wu Hong said that in addition to other security forces in the huge hotel, the police stationed at the site need to be on duty 24 hours.

"Because the time of arrival of guests is uncertain, we need to be available." At noon on May 7, she just wanted to walk back to the temporary residence a few hundred meters away to take a nap, and halfway through she received a notice that a guest was transferred to the scene and needed the police to arrive, hung up the phone, she turned around and quickly trotted back.

Communicate with the staff of hotels, streets, medical services and other units, grasp the number of hotel personnel, do a good job in the inspection of security personnel and safety hazards... These are the daily work days of Wu Hong stationed in the isolated hotel. For example, during the day, she needs to patrol the perimeter of the hotel every 4 hours to check and fill in the gaps in time. Sometimes, in the face of a boring and lonely isolation life, individual personnel inevitably have emotional and psychological fluctuations, and staff, including police officers, have to become "psychological counselors" and carry out psychological counseling work online.

Not only that, but the help of the occupants often requires communication and resolution by the police. "There is now 1 person over the age of 70, 6 children under the age of 14, and two pregnant women." Wu Hong said that people like these who need special care live with their families, and the current situation is very good, and the additional needs will not be particularly much. "Like some baby parents ask to buy rice noodles as complementary food, in this case, after the takeaway is delivered, we check that the packaging is complete, and after special disinfection, we will send it to the guest room."

Speaking of the child, Wu Hong couldn't help but say that this mission was the longest period of separation between her and her baby. "The baby is just over 2 years old, he has never left me for so long, and when he was video called on the first night of the station, the child was crying the whole time." At the end of the phone, she can only keep comforting: "The baby does not cry, the mother will go home to accompany you after the virus..."

"The child is too young to say that it is too deep and does not understand, he will say the word 'fight the monster', I will 'translate' according to the pattern." Looking at the baby who cried into tears, Wu Hong's heart was also uncomfortable, but she understood that as a double police family facing the epidemic means doubling down.

Her husband, who is also a police officer, has been on closed-loop duty since last month. Shortly after the outbreak of the new crown pneumonia epidemic in 2020, when the baby was only 4 days old, he was still on paternity leave when he received the task and rushed back to his post as soon as possible.

"When I first received the task of entering the isolation hotel this time, I was also worried and anxious, after all, the mother-in-law was the only one in the family with the child, and she also had to do housework, so I couldn't be busy." Wu Hong said, "As police, we shoulder responsibility and mission. At present, as one of the few young police officers in the brigade, I have an unshirkable responsibility. Should go or have to go! ”

On May 2, the news that her husband returned home from closed-loop service made Wu Hong feel at ease. "Our husband and wife are equivalent to relaying the fight against the epidemic, these days he is responsible for taking the baby at home, sharing photos with me from time to time, and the baby is not crying much." In her opinion, a child's smiling face is the best holiday gift for her mother.
