Chen Xunyong: I have been painting ants for eighteen years, and I painted ants in Chenghai, Guangdong. The first ant work was born in Baiyun District, and it was the Baiyun District Literary Association that found me and encouraged me to paint ants. I use Lao Tzu's "Shangshan Ruoshui" and Zhuangzi's "Tao in the Ant" to form my philosophical proposition of "Shangshan Ruo Ants", and praise the ants' team fighting spirit of "all people are one". In 2021, the work "One Heart" was included in the first-grade art textbook approved by the Ministry of Education, and it has been used for ten years, and about 15 million primary school students have received education in the spirit of collectivism while studying art. In 2007, I took ants to the highest hall of Chinese art to hold a solo exhibition, and nine of my works were collected by the National Art Museum of China.
