Since last year, the city's criminal investigation department has made some efforts in severely cracking down on criminal offenses and safeguarding the safety of people's lives and property.

The criminal investigation detachment practiced the purpose of "people's public security for the people", focused on the main responsibility of the main business, closely focused on the "I do practical things for the masses" activity, solidly performed its duties and missions, and met the new expectations and new requirements of the people for criminal investigation work. The first is to respond to the new expectations of the people with the fact that the murder case will be solved. Aiming at key industries such as information networks, transportation, and engineering construction, which the masses have strongly complained about, we have newly filed and investigated 2 cases of mafia-type organizations and 2 cases of criminal groups of evil forces, and responded to the masses with practical actions. The third is to respond to the new expectations of the people by deepening the "investigation and prevention of small cases." This year, the city cracked a total of 3575 cases of traditional property infringement, arrested 2997 illegal and criminal personnel, organized and carried out more than 50 various kinds of stolen goods return meetings, and recovered more than 7 million yuan of property losses for the masses. The fourth is to strengthen the comprehensive management of telecommunications fraud crimes in response to the new requirements of the people. In the face of the continuous high incidence of telecommunications network fraud crimes, we took the initiative and actively acted, cracking a total of 2980 cases of telecommunications fraud, including 9 cases of ministerial supervision; 1269 criminal suspects were arrested, and the crackdown was remarkable. At the same time, we have adopted the forms and methods that the masses like to publicize anti-fraud knowledge, promote and install the "National Anti-Fraud Center" APP, handle more than 480,000 early warnings, remind and dissuade more than 410,000 people, and effectively avoid the masses from being deceived. The fifth is to respond to the new demands of the people by solidly carrying out the "reunion" action. Carrying out the "reunion action" is one of the important measures for doing practical things for the people. In line with the principle of "not missing a clue and not giving up a little opportunity", we went deep into the streets of townships and towns in other places to visit villages and households, conducted interviews and verifications day and night, and made full use of professional functions and forensic technology advantages to rescue 1 abducted child and help 24 families achieve a great reunion.

Zhang Nan: At present, the overall number of telecommunications network fraud cases in the country is on the rise, and our city is no exception. For example, there are online single frauds against housewives and unemployed people; online games for student groups, customer service fraud for fake chargers; online dating for middle-aged and elderly groups, gambling investment fraud, impersonation of public prosecutors and law fraud, etc. These cases are not specific to the victims, involve a wide range of aspects, and cause great property losses to our people. At the same time, most of the criminal gangs are concentrated abroad, the crime process all use false identities, remote operations, and the defrauded funds are also quickly transferred, cashed out, and laundered in a short period of time through online banking, third-party payment, etc., which is difficult to recover, and the social impact is very bad.

Zhang Nan: We must understand the truth that "pie will not fall from the sky", and be not greedy, not afraid, and not gullible. The Ministry of Public Security organized the development of the "National Anti-Fraud Center" APP, which is currently being promoted throughout the city, and we only need to spend up to 5 minutes to download, register, and open the interception warning, which can avoid property losses, which is currently the most effective means of prevention. If you do not install, or do not turn on interception, or even uninstall after installation, you will not be able to identify the fraudsters, and you will not be able to receive early warning prompts from the public security organs, and your property may be damaged. Here, I also call on our citizens and friends to actively download and install the National Anti-Fraud Center APP, register with real names and open the early warning and interception function, and effectively protect their "money bags".
