Han Xiaoqin is a midwifery major graduate, in 2005 to Yanqi Hospital to work, 17 years has been engaged in obstetrics and gynecology nursing work, from ordinary nurses to midwives, to the head nurse, all the way to grow up inseparable from her love and responsibility for the work. In the early hours of a day in February 2019, a pregnant twin mother who was less than a month old was admitted to the emergency room. Han Xiaoqin, who was sleeping, was recalled to the delivery room by a phone call. Twin sister birth is relatively smooth, but the sister fetal position is not correct, production is difficult, Han Xiaoqin timely to soothe the mother's emotions, guide the mother to adjust breathing, correct force. After more than 1 hour, the mother successfully delivered the baby girl in the buttock position, and due to the long delivery time, the baby girl had mild suffocation. Han Xiaoqin quickly performed neonatal resuscitation with the doctor, and after 5 minutes, the baby girl finally made a loud cry. Under the careful care of medical staff, the twin sisters and mother were safely discharged from the hospital a week later.
Li Xuehua, a nurse in the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department, has been working with Han Xiaoqin for 13 years, and the two often share work experience, accumulate knowledge, improve professional skills, and have also cooperated in delivering newborns many times.
"She has given a lot of help to the staff of our department, both in work and life, and has given meticulous care to mothers and newborns, bathing the baby, changing diapers, and sleeping."
