On April 19, Ideal Auto released its first Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) report, which comprehensively demonstrates the achievements and contributions of enterprises in five aspects: green operation, innovative products, compliance governance, inclusive care, and warm society. In 2021, Ideal Auto will respond to the goal of carbon neutrality by developing its own range-increasing technology, thereby promoting the sustainable development of the company in the future.
Ideal Auto always attaches importance to sustainable development in operation and production, actively responds to the impacts and opportunities brought by climate change, and implements the environmental strategy of low-carbon development and green development.
In October 2018, ideal ONE was launched, which is equipped with ideal cars' self-developed range-extended electric vehicle technology, which can realize all-pure electric drive in urban areas. In the "China Automotive Low Carbon Action Plan Research Report (2021)" released by China Automobile Data Center, the ideal ONE life cycle co2 emission value is 236.1 grams of carbon dioxide equivalent /km, which is lower than most of the new energy SUVs of the same class. In addition, ideal ONE reduces carbon emissions by more than 65% compared with traditional fuel vehicles in travel; the "urban electricity, long-distance power generation" travel solution pioneered by Ideal Car has been favored by more and more home users.
Ideal Cars also extends the concept of sustainability to the level of product manufacturing. Ideal Automobile Changzhou Manufacturing Base adopts energy-saving and environmental protection methods to achieve a green and low-carbon production mode far below the national wastewater emission standards, including many green materials, green processes, and efficient environmental protection treatment facilities.
In the future, Ideal Automobile will continue to actively respond to the national call for vigorous deployment of clean energy, actively explore energy-saving initiatives, accelerate the construction of a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient energy system, and comprehensively coordinate the promotion of photovoltaic power generation and other plans.
In terms of innovative products, Ideal Auto continues to build a sound quality management system, and builds a product quality assurance mechanism and quality control system for the whole life cycle. Each Ideal ONE is required to implement more than 2,700 quality standards before delivery, and its driver assistance system has a road test mileage of millions of kilometers throughout the year.
Ideal Automobile regards the spirit of innovation as an inexhaustible driving force for the sustainable development of the enterprise, and uses technology to create value for users. In 2021, Ideal Auto developed its own next-generation extended-range electric system; in December last year, Ideal Auto pushed OTA 3.0 vehicle software to all Ideal ONE users, including full-stack self-developed navigation assisted driving NOA and complete AEB functions combined with visual perception algorithms, making driving safer and more convenient. A series of initiatives have made Ideal Auto the third brand in the world to have NOA full-stack self-development capabilities. Ideal ONE won the 2021 championship in the third-party AEB test, and is also the only model in the test model that has the ability to accurately identify lateral vehicles and two-wheelers; it is worth mentioning that ideal ONE is equipped with the industry's first four-screen interaction system, providing a comprehensive solution for in-vehicle interaction and realizing free dialogue across the vehicle.
As of December 31, 2021, Ideal Auto has obtained a total of 1,171 authorized patents and 494 domestic trademarks registered and approved.
In the future, Ideal Auto will continue to lay out vehicle electrification technology, and the Ideal L9, which is scheduled to be launched in the second quarter of 2022, is equipped with a fully developed flagship extended range electric system to interpret the luxury intelligent travel experience. On this basis, Ideal Auto has begun to develop high-voltage pure electric technology, and the brand's first high-voltage pure electric vehicle model is scheduled to be launched in 2023 to further meet consumers' high expectations for electric mobility. Ideal Car will also continue to deepen a series of electric vehicle technologies, including intelligent driving and intelligent cockpit, and move towards achieving a higher level of car manufacturing goals.
