Editor's Note:

Every Chinese who strives to live is the most beautiful strivers. It is precisely because of hundreds of millions of strivers that there is today's China. Ten years, salute to every struggling you. Let us work together to forge a new era and forge ahead into the future.

Zhengzhou, April 20 (Deng Xiaoqiang) Recently, in a calligraphy studio in Zhengzhou City, several embroidery ladies flew up and down with needles and threads in their hands, and on a piece of plain yarn half a meter square, a peacock quietly stopped at the branch, and the feathers and plums shone together, showing the beauty of the embroidery to the fullest.

Fen embroidery is a national intangible cultural heritage, originating from the capital of the Northern Song Dynasty, Fenjing (present-day Kaifeng, Henan). Zhang Liufeng, the founder of this embroidery studio, is a woman who has an indissoluble relationship with embroidery. Born in Kaifeng, she began to learn "embroidery" at the age of 6, and in 2011, she began to devote herself to the inheritance of embroidery skills. In the meantime, she shaped groups of women into professional "embroidery girls". She said, "We as a group of people only do one thing in our lives, and that is to carry forward the embroidery skills." ”

Zhang Liufeng said that almost all the women in her family are engaged in embroidery, and some have been busy with embroidery all their lives. From a young age, she also formed a deep fate with Fenxiu. In the process of gradual growth, she also felt the gradual decline of the embroidery: "If such a good intangible cultural heritage project is broken in our place, it will be the sin of our generation." ”

To this end, in 2011, Zhang Liufeng turned to the cultural industry, determined to explore a modern and branded inheritance path for Fen embroidery. However, the complex and delicate characteristics of the embroidery doom this intangible cultural heritage to fail to integrate into the wave of industrialization, and it is still necessary to rely on the "embroidery workshop" to complete the production of the product.

Where is the "Embroidery Workshop"? How to cultivate a group of "embroidery girls"? Zhang Liufeng decided to combine the inheritance of embroidery with the re-employment of rural left-behind women out of poverty. She said: "I am a woman, and I have come out of the rural xiufang step by step, and I know that rural women need a craft to live a good life." I want them to learn technology to solve poverty and employment problems. ”

Therefore, Zhang Liufeng built a hand-embroidery training base in the countryside and launched an embroidery culture precision poverty alleviation project. At present, the largest "embroidery workshops" are based on poverty alleviation projects. In Jiaozuo Qixian Town and Xinyang Minggang Town, many rural women "carry their babies and accompany their parents to embroider flowers" and "embroider drums" money bags without leaving their homes.

Among Zhang Liufeng's students, there are some excellent embroidery girls. They are becoming a living force in the embroidery tradition.

Wan Xiaojuan is currently the representative inheritor of the intangible cultural heritage project "Golden Needle Technique of Embroidery Painting" in Zhengdong New District, Zhengzhou City. She introduced, "Embroidery mainly pays attention to 7 words - 'flat, qi, fine, bright, quiet, live, smooth', according to different cloth, color and theme, reasonable grasp of the change of silk and the thickness of the split line, such as in the character hair and other details of the performance, to a thread 16 silk split to 1 silk, in order to better interpret the gloss and three-dimensional sense of silk thread." ”

"It is not easy to inherit the embroidery, there are fewer and fewer high-level embroidery women, and the difficult embroidery, like the embroidery of double-sided foreign objects, is about to be lost." Wan Xiaojuan said that in order to better take over the baton of the inheritance of the embroidery, she has been working hard.

"The inheritance of embroidery needs to be correct and innovative, and the embroidery of the new era should let it 'live' in our daily life." Zhang Liufeng believes that embroidery can be used for home decoration, but also can be integrated into cultural and creative products, and embroidery products with practical functions can be loved by people.

She introduced that cultural and creative products such as embroidery speakers, masks, handbags and other cultural and creative products are very popular with consumers in the market, "accepting the product is also accepting the embroidery culture, although the embroidery is a traditional industry, but the idea can not be traditional, while inheriting some changes, will improve the public's recognition." ”

While driving more rural women to employment through embroidery technology, Zhang Liufeng hopes to cultivate more outstanding talents who inherit embroidery, and hopes that more people can join the embroidery industry, "Only by allowing more people to understand the craftsmanship, value and application of embroidery can our intangible cultural heritage be truly inherited and revitalized."
