During the Song Dynasty, the highest-end meat was mutton, and the palace slaughtered sheep in large numbers every day. Su Dongpo was a poor official at this time, and he only had to buy pork that was not wanted by the identity family at the farmer's market, and simmered it slowly over low heat. The first thing to get up, the teeth are not brushed, first a bowl of pork.
Later, Su Dongpo became more and more degraded. During Su Dongpo's exile to Huizhou, because Huizhou was a remote and backward area at that time, there were very few sheep slaughtered, and he could not afford to buy them. Therefore, Su Dongpo stood at the door of the vegetable market and recalled the past: when his career was at its peak, the old man ate in the central canteen every day, and the mutton, biting for half a day, had no bone meat, and his mouth was full of oil. Then, Su Dongpo touched his pocket and said to the boss: Sell me your sheep bones cheaply.
Su Dongpo took the sheep bones home, boiled them, and then took salt wine to roast, roasted into a sheep scorpion, found a toothpick to pick the lamb to eat, a pair of sheep scorpions can be picked for a day, the taste is like crabs, after all, people are also high-value animals on the sporadic minced meat. Su Dongpo ate it about three or five days. Su Dongpo preferred to pick the bones of the sheep and ignore the fish.
