For example, the name of the Great Wall Cannon is very out of place, which suddenly makes many consumers who are not sensitive to pickup trucks pay attention to passenger pickups, in addition, in addition, in addition to launching passenger and commercial versions, it has also launched a special off-road version of the model, further broadening the coverage of the crowd. Moreover, the genealogy of the Great Wall Cannon continues to expand, and various original factory modification schemes continue to emerge.
By the standards of household use, the Great Wall Cannon can be said to have both advantages and disadvantages:
The advantage lies mainly in the hardware, which offers both 2.0T petrol and 2.0T diesel engines, matching the 6-speed manual and ZF 8AT transmission. The manual transmission version does not need to be mentioned, as the old partner of the pickup truck model, the manual transmission is mainly to protect the needs of the commercial market. The addition of the ZF 8AT has truly allowed the car to make a difference in the passenger market.
The author has test-driven the 2.0T gasoline + 8AT version, this set of power is also used in the Haval H9, the tuning is mature, the timing of the shift is very good, and the gear shift action is smooth. Moreover, the power reserve of the 2.0T engine is quite sufficient, and the body of the Great Wall Gun is under no pressure. Of course, because the body of the Great Wall Gun is larger, the fuel consumption of this gasoline power is high. If you are more sensitive to fuel consumption, you can also choose the diesel version, in addition to the noise is slightly larger, the power experience is not bad, but the fuel consumption is lower. As for its steering and chassis, it is basically the same as the SUV of the same size, and daily driving will not cause any trouble.
However, compared with mainstream passenger cars, the performance of the Great Wall Gun in interior design and intelligence still has a large gap.
First of all, the interior texture, in which the control panel adopts a more traditional flat design, which will look a little stiff, plus the materials and color matching are also general, and the interior looks a little cheap.
Secondly, in terms of intelligence, the Great Wall Cannon has not come up with the level that other passenger cars of the Great Wall system should have, although it also provides intelligent speech recognition and other functions, but they are all basic versions, and there is a significant gap with the mainstream level of the current family car market.
Although there are the above shortcomings, on the whole, the Great Wall Gun is still a domestic passenger pickup truck worth starting with.
Changan Kaicheng F70
My personal favorite is the Changan Kaicheng F70, which was jointly developed by Changan and PSA, especially in terms of chassis technology, and has been truly transmitted by PSA. In addition to the advantages of the chassis, the off-road capability of the Kaicheng F70 is also a major feature, which is equipped with the BorgWarner time-sharing four-wheel drive system, which can cope with more complex road conditions than the timely four-wheel drive.
In terms of power, the Kaicheng F70 has a wealth of choices, including diesel engines with 2.0T and 2.5T displacements, and a 2.4T gasoline engine, all three of which are matched with 6-speed manual transmissions. Personally, I would like to admire the 2.5T diesel engine, supplied by Isuzu, which is not only powerful, but also quite reliable, and more attractive to professional players. Only the 2.4T gasoline version of the automatic transmission is matched, which is also the first choice for general household use.
Compared with the Great Wall Gun, the Kaicheng F70 performs better in terms of interior and intelligence. In terms of interior, it adopts the popular floating central control large screen, the steering wheel is double-frame + flat bottom design, and the buttons of the air conditioning control panel come from PSA, which has a good texture. In terms of intelligence, it is equipped with Changan's inCall intelligent car and supports the current mainstream intelligent voice control, online navigation, online music and other functions.
On the whole, Changan Kaicheng F70 is more functional, thanks to the time-sharing four-wheel drive system, its off-road ability is more prominent, can be competent for more difficult tasks in the self-driving tour scene, especially suitable for old drivers.
Fukuda Shogun G7
Compared with the above two models, the Futian General G7 debuted much later and was officially listed at the beginning of this year. The official gave it the domineering name of "Cannon General", which seems to indicate that its goal is to compete with the Great Wall Cannon.
Judging from the actual product, it really has this strength. In terms of power, the Foton General G7 is powered by Cummins' 2.0T diesel engine, which is matched with a 6-speed manual or ZF 8AT transmission. More suitable for home use, of course, is the 8AT version, under the combing of ZF 8AT gearbox, its power output is smooth, coupled with the fuel-saving characteristics of the diesel engine itself, it can leave a lot of money in the long-distance crossing.
Compared with the Great Wall Gun, the overall texture of the Futian General G7 is better, which is also reflected in the interior. With Kaicheng a number of roads, it adopts the popular suspension central control screen, the functional partition is simple and clear, and the three-frame steering wheel shape is stylish. Not only that, its interior color is also basically the same as the current passenger car, using blue and white double color blocks, and adding a decorative version of imitation carbon fiber, which is completely customized for family cars.
On the whole, the Foton General G7 is closer to ordinary passenger cars, with a simple power combination, a design trend, and a wealth of configurations that can fully meet the needs of households.
SAIC Maxus T90
The last thing to talk about is SAIC Maxus T90, which was given a very prominent name by manufacturers at the beginning of the listing - SAIC Bull. Judging from the name, the cow is a worker, and it seems that it should belong to the category of tool carts, but if you understand it as the cow that is bullish, it is another meaning.
In terms of power, the Chase T90 provides two 2.0T diesel engines and a gasoline engine with the same displacement, the difference between the diesel engine is that one is a single supercharging and one is a double supercharging, and the three power is exactly the same as the power on the Chase hardcore SUV model D90 Pro. In the transmission part, the T90 single supercharged model matches two types of 6-speed manual and 6AT, and the dual-supercharged version and gasoline version match the 6-speed manual and 8AT versions.
Among the four cars mentioned today, the T90 double supercharged version of the book parameters is also the strongest, with a maximum horsepower of 218 horses and a maximum torque of 500 Nm, especially the 8AT model, which can drive more pleasantly.
In terms of interior design, the Chase T90 also performed well. It adopts the popular dual screen design, the LCD instrument size is 10.25 inches, the central control screen size is 12 inches, the entire center console adopts the current very popular bracketing layout, tilting to the driver's seat side, and using the upper and lower layered structure division, with red and black color matching, the overall texture is very strong.
In terms of intelligent equipment, the T90 is equipped with the Zebra Zhixing VENUS system, which also supports intelligent voice control, online navigation, online music and other functions.
On the whole, SAIC Maxus T90 is more suitable for users with higher performance requirements, especially the diesel double supercharged version.

For passenger pickup trucks, the more direct concept of the Chinese people comes from ford F150, Toyota Tantu, Dodge Ram and other behemoths, but its import status plus a large price, for a long time is a rich man's big toy, for ordinary families the distance is still far away.
Nowadays, domestic pickup truck manufacturers have accelerated the product layout in the passenger market, and local regulations have also lifted the restrictions on pickup trucks entering the city, I believe it will not be long, just like the SUV consumption wave more than a decade ago, the pickup truck market will also usher in rapid growth. Of course, the premise of all this is that people must accept this "new species" that is not new, just like the gradual transformation from a sedan to a hatchback and an SUV.
Fortunately, although today's domestic passenger pickup trucks are more or less a little bit different from the imported American and Japanese pickup trucks in some aspects, the product force has become more and more comprehensive, whether it is design, intelligence or refinement, it has been leapfrogged than the domestic pickup trucks in the era of tool cars.
