(hereinafter referred to as "Canrui Technology") responded to the Shanghai Stock Exchange's inquiry on "the unit price, unit cost and change of each major product in each period of the reporting period, combined with the relevant business background, quantitative analysis of the reasons for the change in unit cost".

1. Smart sensor chip

(1) Magnetic sensor chip

During the reporting period, the changes in the unit price and unit cost of the company's magnetic sensor chips are shown in the following table:

In fiscal 2020, the unit cost of the company's magnetic sensor chip decreased compared with 2019, mainly due to the decline in wafer costs. Through the optimization of some magnetic sensor chip products, the company reduces the number of lithography and uses a smaller linewidth process, which gradually reduces the chip area and reduces the cost per wafer.

In 2021, the unit cost of the company's magnetic sensor chip increased compared with 2020, mainly due to the impact of rising processing costs. The company's magnetic sensor chips are mainly based on their own packaging and testing, and the cost has risen slightly, increasing the processing cost.

(2) Light sensor chip

During the reporting period, the changes in the unit price and unit cost of light sensor chips are shown in the following table:

In 2020, the unit cost of the company's light sensor chip increased compared with 2019, mainly due to the impact of the epidemic wearing masks, the face recognition payment market demand decreased, the company's product sales in that year were small, and the product cost fluctuated to a certain extent.

In 2021, the unit cost of the company's light sensor chip has decreased compared with 2020, which is the comprehensive impact of the simultaneous decline in wafer and processing costs, and the main product sold by the company in that year is a smaller power optical sensor chip, and the wafer cost and processing cost are lower than the larger power light sensor chip sold in the previous year.

2. Power management chip

(1) Screen bias drive chip

In 2020, the unit cost of the company's screen bias drive chip decreased compared with 2019, mainly due to the decline in processing costs. The company's sales of screen bias drive chips increased significantly that year, and the scale effect led to a decline in unit processing costs.

In fiscal 2021, the unit cost of the company's screen bias drive chip increased compared with 2020, mainly due to the increase in wafer cost. The increase in wafer costs was mainly due to the tight upstream production capacity, and the company's wafer purchase unit price increased.

(2) Flash backlight driver chip

During the reporting period, the changes in the unit price and unit cost of flash backlight driver chips are shown in the following table:

In 2020, the unit cost of the company's flash backlight driver chip remained relatively stable.

In 2021, the unit cost of the company's flash backlight drive chip increased compared with 2020, which is the comprehensive impact of the simultaneous increase in wafer and processing costs. In terms of wafer costs, due to the tight upstream production capacity, the company's wafer purchase unit price has increased. In terms of processing costs, the chip with more shipments in the company that year adopted the WLCSP packaging method, and the unit processing cost increased.

(3) Power drive chip

During the reporting period, the changes in the unit price and unit cost of power drive chips are shown in the following table:

In 2020, the company's power drive chip production and sales grew rapidly, due to the scale effect, the unit wafer cost and processing cost have declined.

In fiscal 2021, the unit cost of the company's power drive chip decreased compared with 2020, mainly because the scale effect reduced the packaging cost.

(4) LED lighting driver chip

During the reporting period, the changes in the unit price and unit cost of LED lighting driver chips are shown in the following table:

In fiscal 2020, the unit cost of the company's LED lighting driver chip decreased compared with 2019, mainly because the wafer cost has declined. Because the company introduced a highly integrated LED lighting driver chip, the unit cost was reduced.

In 2021, the unit cost of the company's LED lighting driver chip increased compared with 2020, mainly due to two reasons, on the one hand, the upstream production capacity is tight, and the company's wafer procurement unit price has risen; on the other hand, the company's LED lighting driver chip of the year is mainly a product with large power, and the wafer cost is higher.

3. Packaging and testing services

During the reporting period, the changes in the unit selling price and unit cost of packaging and testing services are shown in the following table:

In fiscal 2020, the unit cost of the company's packaging and testing services increased compared with 2019, mainly due to the increase in direct materials. Due to the large number of high-power chips sealed and tested in that year, more materials were consumed, resulting in an increase in direct material costs.

In fiscal 2021, the unit cost of the company's packaging and testing services decreased compared with 2020, mainly due to the decline in manufacturing expenses. Due to the production of Hengtuo Electronics, the electroplating and dicing processes in the packaging and testing process were transferred from external to internal execution, resulting in a decline in manufacturing costs greater than the growth of direct materials consumed and direct labor.
