From April 25 to 26, 2024, the "18th Engineering Construction Industry Informatization Development Conference" hosted by the China Construction Enterprise Management Association was successfully held in Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province. With the theme of "Digital Transformation • New Quality Productivity • High-quality Development", the conference aims to promote the digital transformation of the engineering and construction industry, accelerate the development of new quality productivity, and achieve high-quality development of the industry.

At the plenary session, Zhou Xin delivered a keynote speech entitled "The Development Prospects of Artificial Intelligence and How to Empower the Management of Engineering Construction Enterprises".

Yu Zuo delivered a speech on "Artificial Intelligence Empowering Digital Transformation" at the Management Informatization Conference. In his speech, Yu Zuo elaborated on Huawei's deep understanding and practical experience in enterprise digital transformation. He pointed out that since the State Council proposed to accelerate the digital transformation of state-owned enterprises, Huawei has become a benchmark in the high-tech manufacturing industry with more than 20 years of experience in business transformation and process informatization, as well as nearly a decade of digital transformation practice. In the AI exhibition area, Huawei's latest progress in AI was showcased from three aspects: the Pangu model, the one-stop AI development platform, and the computing infrastructure. For the construction industry, Huawei's Pangu model provides customers with five basic models: natural language, vision, multimodality, prediction, and scientific computing, which adopt a completely hierarchical decoupling design, which can quickly adapt to and meet the changing needs of the industry. Debugging and tuning large model applications and scenario-based applications, especially in the Kunpeng and Ascend computing fields, we carry out full-stack software and hardware collaborative innovation, and work closely with ecosystem partners to jointly build and cultivate the computing industry ecosystem and build a solid computing power foundation.
Based on years of deep cultivation in the construction industry, Huawei showcased its latest achievements at the conference, such as mGE (multi-rate) + Wi-Fi 7 high-quality intelligent building network solutions, as well as the latest low-voltage products. High-quality intelligent building networks provide strong support for the intelligent upgrading of buildings and accelerate the intelligent transformation of the building industry, and special products for weak currents, such as switches and wireless access points (APs), can reduce the cost of intelligent network construction by 20%.
In addition, the demonstration of smart construction sites, smart factories, and smart campuses further demonstrates Huawei's rich practices in promoting the digital transformation of the engineering and construction industry.
