Recently, after about 40 days of construction, the provincial highway S101 line in Sichuan Zhongjiang County, Fengdian Town to Cangshan Town section of the repair project has completed all the main project construction, and is currently speeding up the installation of road signs and other traffic safety facilities.
The repaired road is new and smooth, which not only brings safety and convenience to the people along the road, but also greatly avoids the problems of road dust and road water accumulation in the flood season, and also adds a touch of color to the improvement of the urban and rural environment of the towns and villages along the road.
It is reported that the project starts in Fengdian Town, Zhongjiang County, and ends in Cangshan Town, with a total length of 17.3 kilometers, with a total investment of about 23.991 million yuan.
As an important traffic passage in the southern area of Zhongjiang County, the line has a large traffic flow and high traffic demand, and the fully closed construction has a great impact on the travel of the people along the line. In order to reduce the impact of construction on the production and life of the masses as much as possible, the county transportation bureau laid out and planned in advance, seized the project period, increased the investment in personnel and construction machinery, coordinated the townships and participating units along the line, accelerated the construction progress of the project under the premise of ensuring the quality of the project, and urged the completion of the construction task with high standards in the shortest possible time.
"We will strengthen the organization and coordination of construction, strictly grasp the quality of road construction and maintenance, and strive to achieve the opening of the whole line before June 4, benefit the production and life of the people along the line as soon as possible, further improve the level of road conditions of the county's national and provincial trunk roads, and provide a strong guarantee for the construction of a smooth county transportation network with external connections." The successful completion of the provincial highway S101 line repair project is one of the important achievements of Zhongjiang County's county traffic quality upgrading. Since the beginning of this year, the Zhongjiang County Transportation Bureau has focused on the development goal of "comprehensive and unimpeded internal and rapid external connectivity", seized development opportunities such as the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle, and made every effort to promote the construction of high-speed and high-speed road networks and the upgrading of local highways. In 2024, a total of 35 projects are planned to be implemented, with a total construction mileage of about 474 kilometers, a total investment of about 35 billion yuan, and an annual planned investment of 2.1 billion yuan.
