The 2024 Zhongguancun Forum Annual Conference, which lasted for five days, came to an end on April 29. Over the past few days, more than 120 top experts and thousands of speakers from more than 100 countries and regions have participated in 128 activities in five major sectors, including forums and conferences, technology transactions, results releases, cutting-edge competitions and supporting activities.
Just like the theme of this year's Zhongguancun Forum Annual Conference - "Innovation: Building a Better World", the Zhongguancun Forum Annual Conference strengthens international scientific and technological exchanges with a more open attitude. Overseas guests accounted for nearly 50% of the parallel forums, 1,280 projects were solicited from 74 countries and regions abroad, accounting for more than 40%, and more than 450 foreign guests attended the opening ceremony and plenary sessions, accounting for nearly half, a record high, of which more than 300 guests made a special trip to attend the annual meeting of the forum.

In response to the national strategic needs, Pathfinder launched the dual main business strategy of "outdoor + chip" in 2021, and successively acquired Beijing Xinneng, an analog chip company focusing on the display field, and G2 Touch, an overseas high-end touch chip company, to enrich the chip product line and form industrial economies of scale. During the forum, Pathfinder held a special session on "Prospects: Development of a New Generation of Video Display Chips", inviting academic authorities and industry experts to gather together to discuss the technological development and industrial trends of the new generation of video display drivers and touch drives, and to promote the development of the domestic semiconductor industry. The signing of a strategic cooperation agreement between Pathfinder and Zhongguancun International became a highlight of the forum. The two sides will carry out the integration of global resource advantages, service capabilities and resource networks, form a strong synergy, provide cross-border services to potential customers of innovation and entrepreneurship entities, strengthen institutional innovation, accelerate the construction of a global collaborative innovation system, and make greater contributions to national construction while achieving mutual benefit and win-win results.
During the forum, it coincided with the successful launch of the Shenzhou-18 manned spacecraft, and the Shenzhou-17 astronaut crew and the Shenzhou-18 astronauts worked and lived together on the space station. More than 10 types of clothing and equipment worn by the six astronauts were independently developed and produced by Pathfinder. Pathfinder held a theme exhibition of "Walking with Innovation and Serving the National Strategy" at the forum, which exhibited the astronaut cabin suits, which attracted countless participants to stop and take photos. The on-site exhibits also include Antarctic expedition uniforms, high-altitude climbing coveralls, deep-sea scientific research equipment, a new generation of touch chips, visual display chip technology and product applications.
He Huajie, President of Pathfinder Group, participated in the "Hard Technology Investment and Development Forum" and delivered a keynote speech on "Investment Opportunities under the Global Supply Chain Restructuring - M&A Practice and Thinking of Chips Related to the Panel Industry", sharing Pathfinder's experience in embracing global changes through its practice in recent years.
