On May 18, the "Chill Summer" Outdoor Art Carnival and the 2024 Nanhai District Art Four Seasons Launching Ceremony was held in the Nanhai Banyue Island Ecological Park. The carnival gathers a variety of cultural and artistic experiences such as reading, music, intangible cultural heritage, art, magic, cultural and creative markets, and this year's Nanhai District Art Four Seasons will be launched simultaneously, and 25 major activities covering various forms will be carried out.
The Outdoor Art Carnival is divided into six areas, each with a different way to play, attracting many parent-child families to watch and experience. Among them, in addition to high-quality dance, magic, and Cantonese opera performances, there was also a grass pop concert brought by a band in the activity area, and the atmosphere was warm. On the grass and in the tent, parent-child families read picture books, make bouquets, and make greeting cards to feel the fresh breath of early summer.

Among them, in the "10-meter-long scroll" co-painting area, citizens picked up paintbrushes and co-created paintings with the theme of "Four Seasons of Art"; The creative Guochao pop-up book fair is 20 meters long, attracting many children to linger and share the multiple reading experience of "sunshine + grass + book". In the writers' signing area, 10 local writers from the Nanhai District Writers Association brought 300 books to give to the public; In the intangible cultural heritage experience area, citizens can learn traditional paper-cutting techniques, put on Cantonese opera costumes to experience, and discover the beauty of intangible cultural heritage.
As an important part of this carnival, the cultural and creative market has selected more than 10 original art IPs and cultural and creative brands from the Nanhai District Art and Creative Industry Association, integrating artist IP display and sales and art interactive experience, and promoting the sustainable development of emerging art in Nanhai.
