Caucus china automobile association announced the top 15 sales of Chinese automobile brands in the first quarter, SAIC motor ranked first with a sales performance of 576,000 vehicles; Changan and Geely followed, with sales of 529,000 units and 326,000 units respectively; the fourth and fifth were Dongfeng and BYD, while the Great Wall ranked sixth, with sales of 284,000 vehicles, down 16.3% year-on-year, missing the top five of the list. In terms of passenger cars, the top three are in line with the above overall ranking. Thanks to the continuous hot sales of plug-and-mix models, BYD's growth rate was remarkable, up 179.1% year-on-year. In addition, the new power brands Xiaopeng, Ideal, and Nezha also maintained a good growth rate, 333.4%, 152.1%, and 305.1% respectively, ahead of the former new energy sales champion - BAIC.

In terms of commercial vehicles, Changan ranked first in the list, an increase of 5% year-on-year, the only car company to grow against the trend, and the other 14 car companies were all negative growth. The second, third and fourth places, namely Dongfeng, BAIC and SAIC, all had sales of more than 110,000 vehicles. In the Great Wall and Chery, where passenger cars are outstanding, commercial vehicle sales are only 43,000 units and 0.6 million units, ranking eighth and thirteenth in the list respectively, while Geely is not even in the list.
