Fight against the epidemic | people who shine into stars

"Hope is a good thing,

Maybe the best thing in the world. ”

He works in the street office, and he runs directly to the front line of the fight against the epidemic.

He was much younger than me, and I usually called him Brother Sheng. As it is called, familiar with pro-hotspots.

The process of knowing is very fortuitous. I am a writer who loves literature, especially ancient poetry. So you can talk about it.

Then, the plague hit Jiangcheng, which had just finished a major sports tournament.

Lockdowns, home isolation, grabbing vegetables, countless microblogs for help, cold winter, wind and snow, the darkest hour, the desolate city as the end of the day. Looking up, the sky was gray.

At that time, I kept seeing him frequently send circles of friends. At least one a day.

He said: "Everyone is doing real things, not making flower racks, not tidying up the useless, this kind of power will inevitably bring about great changes." ”

He said: "I have always believed that the vast majority of people in this world are 'silent kindness' who play a role in inconspicuous places and corners. ”

He sent a voice from the scene: "On the 23rd, a total of 17 people were picked up from Vulcan Mountain, all cabins and public hospitals, 1 child was sent to children's hospital, and 1 pregnant mother was sent to the Provincial People's East Hospital." ”

He continued to send voices from the scene: "Since I got this professional ambulance, I seem to have become a professional fire brigade, the phone was broken, a point was not finished, and I received various calls to "carry out the task". ”

He was also restless: "Split me into three or five petals, I also want to pull more patients, but the strength does not allow ah!" Insist on persevering and insisting, not giving up, until all the patients are sent to the square cabin, and all the patients are picked up. ”

These words come from his circle of friends. He rescued and picked him up one by one. I watched every circle of friends he updated. Pray for his peace.

After more than a month, his words gradually relaxed: "Due to the heavy task, my pick-up and drop-off team has replenished its strength." It is still unknown when the inflection point of the fluctuation curve will really arrive, but the healing of more and more patients is just the prelude to the imminent recovery of a city, and it is also the hope of all living things to compete for freedom. ”

In fact, he has not been able to adapt to the working environment within the system. He was a civil servant with some literary temperament. He was a former naval soldier, then a graduate student and a local civil servant.

He finally decided to leave the system and live the kind of life he liked, more freely, more literary. As a result, before he could quit his job and leave, the plague appeared.

He is also flesh and blood, and he also has family and children.

He will also be afraid, but also uneasy, will send such a circle of friends message: "Like me is not smart enough but also a kind person, these days, and will continue to frequent high-intensity pick-up diagnosis, suspicion, fever, close contact and healing patients, will certainly be fine, right?" If I do this today, I can also count it as a virtue for myself and my children. I hope that one day, if you leave the system and encounter difficulties, you can also be taken by the good people in the system! ”

Absolutely. I said to him, "At least, I'll write about you and invite you to dinner." ”

He was updated like this until Wuhan was unsealed.

I once asked him, do you want to record a piece of history, or do the leaders want you to count the workload? That's why you update your circle of friends every day? During that time, many of my friends were silent and depressed and did not send a circle of friends. In particular, he was a man with a unit, and his colleagues advised him to be careful.

He replied to me: "The reason why I update every day is not to love to send a circle of friends, but to give friends in the circle of friends a hope through the real scene of this scene."

Ah, it turns out that the answer is "hope".

Hope is a good thing, perhaps the best thing in the world.

Fight against the epidemic | people who shine into stars

After the 90s, Chen Sheng drove an ambulance with the words "Wuhan refueling" printed on it, and more than 1,000 new crown patients were transported.

【Afterword】

The above is actually some old text, from February 2020, I quoted it bits and pieces, written in some of my articles. Recently, I have been in a very uneasy mood, and yesterday I wrote an article to write down some memories and some people in the Wuhan 2020 epidemic. I think of so many, one face after another, the same things. Of course, this also includes Xiaosheng' classmates. No one interviewed him, and he didn't get any recognition. If I didn't know him and didn't document him, he would be one of thousands of people who have done so many things silently in the fight against the epidemic. Those people have a common name – unsung heroes.

He deserves a separate article. At this moment, in April 2022, I finally put it together and gave it to him alone.

I looked at them as heroes. Admired and touched. Looking at them now, they are not only heroes, but also rare legends in the world. It turns out that they can't be copied. Not every city can have so many legends at every moment. Ordinary and shiny. Yesterday, while reminiscing, I wrote, and I couldn't help but burst into tears.

I had mixed feelings, but at that time, it was only commonplace, how do I know, they are so precious. The city I am in, with their protection, is a great blessing. How fortunate to have them in Wuhan. You are birds that have forgotten the sunrise and sunset, shouldering the wind and snow, giving me hope. You are the faint candle flames of the dark night, dispelling the haze and giving me strength. Ordinary heroes, protecting an entire city. You stepped forward and returned to ordinary life. You are all people who have become stars.
