In the entire mobile phone image processing link, Mariana X is placed in front of the ISP of the Snapdragon SoC chip, and the RAW data from the sensor sensor is processed by Mariana, and then the ISP relays a series of RAW, RGB, and YUV processing. Li Jie revealed that the current development of Mariana X on OPPO Find X5 Pro is only 30%, and OPPO will continue to develop Mariana X's features and push upgrades for users. The Mariana X is an NPU chip, unlike our previous tuning with the General Purpose Chip Platform. Its algorithms all need to be processed by AI artificial intelligence, so Mariana X must be allowed to use neural networks to learn and calculate in order to continue to improve.
For example, in the past, the function optimization of an image can be completed by changing the code and testing in three days, but with Mariana X, it is not possible, because it takes three days to run the algorithm and run the model, of course, the effect is better than ever.
