And now the domestic mobile phone manufacturer OPPO officially announced and the global electric vehicle overlord Tesla reached a cooperation, OPPO mobile phone digital key function will be able to fully adapt to Tesla's electric vehicles, the current adaptation of the model has two models, namely Model 3 and Model Y, which also makes people wonder: OPPO mobile phone will not become the Tesla owner's royal mobile phone?
In fact, we have seen a lot of this cooperation, such as BMW's digital key to support iPhone XR, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, Apple Watch 5 and above models; like some of the previous Huawei mobile phones in China can also be used as the digital key of BMW cars. For the digital key of the car, the most important function is to directly unlock or lock the vehicle through the digital key on the mobile phone, and some digital keys can even directly start the vehicle, saving the user a lot of time.
As for the cooperation between OPPO and Tesla, OPPO officials also said: In the future, OPPO mobile phones will be Tesla's car keys. This feature can better provide a senseless unlocking experience for Tesla owners. Specifically, if you hold the OPPO mobile phone, then you can add the "digital car key" function through the "wallet" APP in the mobile phone, after completing this operation, when the user is close to the Tesla Model 3/Y model, the door of the corresponding model will automatically unlock, and when the user leaves, it will automatically drop the lock, and there is no need to carry the physical car key out to travel normally. However, oppo's digital key does not seem to be able to achieve the function of starting the vehicle, and it is not known whether it will be added in the future.
Of course, now, not every OPPO mobile phone supports the digital key function, from the poster released by OPPO, there are only four OPPO models that support the linkage with Tesla Model 3/Y models for the time being, including Reno7, Find N, Find X5 and Find X5 Pro, but OPPO also said that more models are continuing to be adapted. This means that in the future, OPPO will have more mobile phones to support the automatic unlocking and unlocking of Tesla models, and it is not known whether OPPO's two pro-sons, OnePlus and Realme, will also support tesla adaptation.
However, the adaptation of mobile phones and electric vehicles needs to be updated on the system, the system required by OPPO mobile phones should be maintained in the system version of ColorOS 11.2 and above, and the version of Tesla APP needs to be updated to 4.7.3-1022, but this is obviously not a problem. I just don't know if such cooperation will make Tesla owners more willing to buy OPPO's mobile phone in the future, although unlocking is a very simple behavior, but it can be solved with a mobile phone without feeling, at least it looks very tall.
