From a medical point of view, being born within 28 weeks of pregnancy is actually called miscarriage. Four days later, on March 26, 26 weeks + 3 days of pregnancy, the second child was born, also a boy, weighing more than 800 grams, also needed to be treated in the neonatal department.
The other two children continued to protect the fetus in their mother's belly. "After all, the fetus is not yet full-term, not yet fully developed, can be guaranteed one more day can develop one more day, the risks after birth and the cost of treatment will also be reduced." Ma Yuyan told reporters.
For quadruplets, such a delayed delivery method is very rare and risky, and it is a huge test for both medical staff and pregnant women.
