1. Is hyperuricemia gout?

The prevalence of hyperuricemia in mainland adults is about 10%, but the prevalence of gout is only about 1% to 2%, which means that only 1-2 people with high blood uric acid will have gout in every 10 people [3].
2. What are the fructose foods?
Artificial fructose is added to almost all sweet foods and beverages, such as sugary drinks, fruit wine, desserts, preserved fruits, canned fruits and snacks.
The easiest way to tell is to look at the food ingredient list to see if there are any fructose ingredients in it [4].
3. If you have gout, will you say goodbye to hot pot forever?
It is not that if you have gout or high blood uric acid, you will completely say goodbye to fish, meat, and hot pot, but you should avoid frequent excessive intake.
Once or twice, every time you keep your mouth shut and eat less, enjoy life, it's still okay.
It is best not to drink wine. Although the purine content in alcohol is generally low, the conversion of alcohol into acetic acid in the body inhibits the excretion of uric acid from the kidneys [1].
4. Does gout require lifelong medication?
If the doctor requires you to take uric acid-lowering drugs, you must insist on taking the medicine for a long time and control the blood uric acid to the range that the doctor thinks is ideal.
5. What should I do if gout suddenly occurs?
If you have a gout attack, you should take painkillers within 12 hours. What medicine to take, it is best to consult a doctor to determine.
Commonly used analgesics include nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory analgesics, colchicine, and glucocorticoids.
They all have side effects, such as peptic ulcers and kidney damage, etc., and must not be used blindly, let alone eat themselves for a long time.
