【February 2022 Joint Venture Car Sales Ranking】According to the statistics compiled by the editors of the car purchase network, the wholesale sales of the joint venture brand car market in February 2022 were 455,100 units, compared with 387,800 units in the same period last year, an increase of 17.3% year-on-year; compared with 644,500 units in January, the sales volume decreased by 209,400 units, down 31.5% month-on-month.
According to the data, the joint venture car with sales of more than 10,000 units in February 2022 has a total of 16 models, which is 6 models less than the previous month. Nissan Xuanyi and Volkswagen Langyi continue to rank in the top two, with sales of 33,316 units and 32,037 units respectively, although far lower than last month's sales, but still have a substantial increase compared with the same period last year, with a year-on-year increase of 25.0% and 142.1% respectively.
The joint venture mid-size car is still deeply loved by the Chinese people, and among the top ten joint venture cars sold, the mid-size car accounts for five models. Among them, Tesla Model 3 wholesale sales of 24112 units, ranking third; Honda Accord sales of 16588 units, ranking fifth; Nissan Tianlai sales of 15332 vehicles, ranking sixth; Toyota Camry sales of 13670 units, ranking eighth; BMW 3 Series sales of 12271 units, ranking tenth.
In addition, volkswagen Magotan, Toyota Asia Dragon, Volkswagen Passat and other three medium-sized cars also sold more than 10,000 units, 11634 units, 11525 units and 10447 units respectively. Of the 16 joint venture cars that sold more than 10,000 units in February, the joint venture mid-size car accounted for half of the country.
Toyota Corolla sales picked up in the market, with 22,725 units sold in February, ranking fourth. Its sibling model, Ralink, ranked sixteenth with sales of 10,236 units, down 26.7% year-on-year, with weak sales.
Compared with the same period last year, volkswagen Bora and Sagitar sales fell significantly. Among them, Bora sold 15,300 vehicles, ranking seventh, down 26.5% year-on-year; Sagitar sold 12,610 vehicles, ranking ninth, down 34.2% year-on-year.
Chevrolet Cruze sales have grown steadily, selling 11,490 vehicles in February, ranking thirteenth, surpassing the sales of the sibling Model Buick Yinglang. Buick Yinglang sold only 8,603 vehicles in February, falling out of the top 20 and down 66.4% year-on-year.
The luxury medium and large sedans alone sold more than 10,000 BMW 5 Series, ranking fourteenth with sales of 10,627 units. The Audi A6L sold 9,779 units, ranking seventeenth; the Mercedes-Benz E-Class sold 9,346 units, ranking nineteenth.
Demand for small cars was weak, and Toyota Vios, the top joint venture small car sales champion in February, ranked 30th among joint venture cars with sales of 4239 units. Honda's new Fit, which was the champion of small car sales last year, sold only 1,905 units in February, ranking only 47th among the joint venture brand cars.
