First, the basic description of the project

A textile company's 5G factory has applied more than 60 AMR forklifts tailored to it by Veritas. In order to solve the shortage of labor, the forward-looking use of AMR forklift trucks instead of manual handling, intelligent transformation. The use of outdoor forklift AMR, the integration of 5G communication, the use of laser navigation, outdoor waterproof design, 7X24 hours a day operation. From the first batch of equipment entered the site in August 2020, the project has been running for nearly 19 months, completing a total of one million handling tasks and accumulating 700,000 Km. The project supports 8 major business scenarios, more than 140 handling processes, AMR automatically sends the cloth barrels of the rough warehouse to the dyeing workshop, sends them to the finishing area after completing the dyeing, and sends them out to other areas such as the printing workshop and the cloth inspection center, so as to realize the unmanned logistics handling of the whole site.

24/7 operation indoors and outdoors

The use of AMR forklift trucks to achieve from the factory area and the factory area, from indoor to outdoor, to achieve unmanned interference, unmanned operation of the automatic handling. 3. Identification and docking based on ToF camera point cloud template, which further inhibits the accumulated error of laser navigation and accurately docks.

Network coverage using 5G

The entire factory area is 200,000 square meters, covering a large area, and the entire plant area is covered by a 5G network. Under the blessing of 5G, the laser navigation forklift AMR will no longer be limited by the transmission bandwidth, but as an execution terminal and the control center real-time interconnection, support any time to issue tasks to the intelligent forklift, and track the whole process, real-time control of the logistics handling trajectory and status, and can be arbitrarily interrupted, restored, adjusted and other operations on the performed tasks, realizing the flexibility and flexibility of logistics handling.

The information system is fully connected

The AMR scheduling platform and the MES system carry out task docking, realize automatic task triggering, operate workers to configure intelligent handheld terminals, intelligently bind the cloth barrel, and realize the whole process of traceability from blank to dyeing to finishing. Through access to intelligent equipment such as weighbridges and visual warehouse sensors, automatic weighing and automatic warehousing processes are realized, which greatly reduces the manual operation links, achieves real-time information exchange between the production end and the logistics end, and opens up the "second pulse of Ren Dou" of the intelligent transformation of the factory.

Digital visualization

The project provides a visual terminal, which realizes the real-time monitoring and display of the operation status and task execution of amR forklift trucks in the whole plant area, and can intuitively reflect the current production situation. The system provides multi-dimensional data statistics reports, through data analysis and comparison, find production bottlenecks, optimize scheduling and sorting, improve warehouse turnover efficiency, standardize the operation process, reduce the stock inventory, and reduce the preparation cycle from 1 to 2 days in advance to less than 4 to 8 hours.
