Volkswagen unveils the "van" ID.Buzz

Id. Buzz features a suspended roof, the entire front is curved like A1, and the matrix headlights on both sides are connected by LED daytime running lights, and there is a large Volkswagen LOGO in the center.

Although the body is more square, the wind resistance performance of the two cars is excellent, of which ID. Buzz has a drag coefficient of 0.285 and ID. Buzz Cargo has a drag coefficient of 0.29.

Volkswagen ID. Buzz's body is equipped with electric slide doors on both sides to facilitate passengers to get on and off the bus.

The first European version of the Buzz, with a wheelbase of 2988mm, will feature an 81kWh (net capacity 77kWh) battery pack, rear-wheel drive, a maximum motor of 150 kW and a peak torque of 310 Nm.

In terms of charging, Volkswagen ID.Buzz electric vehicles support DC fast charging, and the official said that the car can be charged to 80% of the power in 30 minutes.

In the interior part ID.Buzz still adopts the classic style of the Volkswagen ID. series, the central control screen and steering wheel do not have much formal changes, and ID.3, ID.4 and other models that are the same as the MEB platform, using a smaller size LCD instrument and a central control screen. On the ID.3 and ID.4 models, the electronic barrier was mounted on the right side of the instrument screen, but on the ID.Buzz it was changed to a pocket gear design.

Intelligent ID. Buzz is equipped with Volkswagen's Travel Assist L2 level autopilot system, and the single-sight camera is placed under the windshield, closer to the driver's line of sight. In the position of the middle net in front of the vehicle, a millimeter-wave radar is also installed.

ID.Buzz also has a Highway Automatic Lane Change Assist system, which is capable of identifying traffic flow in the current and left lanes. If the vehicle in the current lane is driving too slowly, it can intelligently change lanes to overtake.

And ID.Buzz is also equipped with a memory parking function. By learning the driver's parking route, ID.Buzz are able to follow the learning route and drive into the parking space.
