Technical interpretation
The design of ID.Buzz can be said to be unsurprising, like a Volkswagen T1 that uses the DESIGN language of the ID family, which can be said to combine avant-garde and classic. Although the ID.Buzz's styling is very similar to Thatway's, the new car is technically reborn. ID.Buzz is based on the Volkswagen MEB platform, and is the first MPV model on the MEB platform, along with models such as ID.3 and ID.4. Since this car is not equipped with an engine, there is almost no front end in the traditional sense, and the flat shape is the same as that of the Volkswagen T1.
Electric vehicles do not have traditional internal combustion engines, gearboxes, cooling systems and other components, and the space inside the car will naturally become larger and more in line with the positioning of MPV. Volkswagen ID.BUZZ uses a battery with a total capacity of 82kWh, which is the same as the ID.4, ID.6 and other models. It is worth noting that the ID.Buzz can support ac charging mode with a charging power of 11 kilowatts, while the DC fast charging power through the European CCS standard charging port is 170 kilowatts, and it takes only 30 minutes to charge from 5% to 80%. Like other models based on the MEB platform, ID.Buzz also uses the rear-drive drive form. The maximum output of the motor is 150 kW, the peak torque is 310 N.m, and a four-wheel drive version with a maximum output of 300 horsepower will be provided later.
