As can be seen from the pictures of the new car released, the exclusive eHybrid badge is printed above the tailgate of the new car, which also indicates that the new car will be equipped with a 1.4T plug-in hybrid engine, and the drivetrain is matched with a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission. In addition, Volkswagen's new Matway off-road modified version is also expected to launch a 2.0T diesel four-wheel drive system version for consumers to purchase in the future, and the drivetrain is matched with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.

Volkswagen's new Matway off-road modified version still uses a honeycomb-shaped intake grille on the front face, and a heavy metal bumper and double spotlights are added above the grille. Heavy black-wheeled brow trim panels were also added to the sides of the body, and Loder's A/T all-terrain tires were used, measuring 255/55 R18. In addition, the new car is equipped with Bilstein shock absorbers and Eibach springs, which increase the ground clearance of its body by 40 mm, further improving the vehicle's passing performance. At the same time, a larger metal luggage rack was also installed above the top of the new car, and PIAA dual spotlights were added.
