After 3 years, Ideal Auto is about to launch its second model. Today, Ideal Auto officially announced some product information of "Ideal L9", including vehicle interior details, release time and vehicle price.
According to official news, the ideal L9 will be launched during the Beijing Auto Show in 2022, according to the different model configurations, the vehicle price range will be between 450,000-500,000 yuan, compared with the ideal ONE more than 100,000.
Regarding the interior details of the ideal L9, combined with the interior official diagram and the official expression, the big change of the ideal L9 is to cancel the traditional dashboard and add a small size LCD screen to the steering wheel, and will also provide a large HUD head-up display and a safe driving interactive screen, the vehicle central control screen, the co-pilot entertainment screen, and the rear cabin entertainment screen use three 15.7-inch car specification-level OLED screens.
In terms of vehicle system, the ideal L9 will have 6 microphones and 3DToF sensors in the car, which can interact in three dimensions in the car; and two Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chips in the cockpit.
On the evening of the 3rd of this month, Ideal Auto released a message on its official Weibo: Ideal Auto will release a global smart flagship SUV built for families during the Beijing Auto Show, and the product is officially named: Ideal L9.
Based on a number of previous media reports, the internal code name of the ideal L9 is ideal X01, which is built based on the second-generation extender platform, positioning a large SUV, and the power will use a range extender power system composed of a 1.5T four-cylinder engine and an electric motor.
In terms of appearance, according to the previously exposed spy photos, the overall style of the new car is similar to the ideal ONE, the front face part, it is expected that the new car will adopt a closed front grille design, and the logo through LED daytime running lights on the ideal ONE will also appear on the ideal L9.
The side of the body is also expected to continue with a simple design similar to the ideal ONE, with low wind resistance wheels. In the rear part, the new car is equipped with a small roof spoiler and high brake lights, and the tail lights adopt a single-width through design, which is obviously different from the current ideal ONE double-layer penetration.
In terms of body size, the new car is 5200/1998/1800mm in length, width and height, and wheelbase is 3100mm, positioning large SUVs, similar to flagship models such as BMW X7 and Mercedes-Benz GLS.

For the ideal L9 price range between 450,000-500,000 yuan, many netizens said: too expensive, there is no competitive advantage in the first model.
As of now, Ideal Auto has only one model under the Ideal ONE, which was released in October 2018 and exceeded 30,000 units on December 18, 2020, setting a record for the fastest delivery of the first model of the new car manufacturing force.
Ideal ONE positioning medium and large SUV, and the new power brand Weilai Automobile and Xiaopeng Automobile are different in that the ideal ONE uses range extender drive, oil and electricity.
In terms of sales, in the past 2021, the ideal ONE has delivered a total of 90,491 vehicles in the whole year, an increase of 177.4% over 32,624 units in 2020. In the first two months of this year, the cumulative delivery volume of ideal ONE reached 20,682 vehicles (of which 12,268 in January; 8,414 in February), becoming the top brand sales of new forces.
For this year's short-term first quarter sales plan, Ideal Said expects to deliver 30,000 to 32,000 units in the first quarter of 2022, while the longer-term sales target is to achieve 1.6 million units by 2025.
