1. Euler Good Cat GT announces price increases

Recently, Euler Automobile officially said through euler ORA App that due to the sharp rise in raw material prices, new energy car purchase subsidies decline and other factors, from 00:00 on March 1, the official guidance price of the GT version of Euler Good Cat was adjusted to 147,000 yuan, and customers who had previously paid a deposit to sign a contract still enjoyed the insurance policy. In addition, Euler Automobile announced that the 2022 Euler Good Cat will start receiving orders from 00:00 on March 1.

2. Li Shufu resigned as a director of Geely

On March 4, Geely Automobile Group Co., Ltd. underwent industrial and commercial changes, Li Shufu and Yang Jian resigned as directors, and Sun Hong and Wang Xinggui were added as supervisors and directors.

Geely Automobile Group Co., Ltd. was established in September 2018 with a registered capital of 900 million yuan, Li Shufu stepped down as chairman in July 2021, the current chairman is An Conghui, and the legal representative is Gan Jiayue. Shareholder information shows that the company is wholly owned by Zhejiang Geely Holding Group Co., Ltd.

3. Ideal's second car, the L9, will be released soon

On the evening of March 3, Ideal Auto announced on the official public platform that it will release a global smart flagship SUV built for families during the Beijing Auto Show, and the product is officially named Ideal L9.

According to previous news, the second model of Ideal Auto is positioned as a full-size SUV, with a body size larger than the Ideal ONE, with a body length of 5200mm and a wheelbase of 3105mm. In terms of power, the new car will be built with the second-generation extended range platform, the maximum power of the system will reach 300kW, the maximum torque will be 600N·m, the acceleration time of the vehicle will be less than 6 seconds, and it will be equipped with adaptive air suspension. The price of the whole vehicle may reach 500,000 yuan.

4. Ford's Electric Vehicle Business Unit is independent

On March 2, Ford Motor announced that its electric vehicle business unit and the traditional internal combustion engine business unit will operate as separate entities, aiming to promote the development of the electric vehicle business to catch up with the industry leader Tesla.

Regarding the improvement of the subsidy policy for new energy vehicles, Zeng Qinghong suggested that the state subsidy be postponed for one to two years, simplify the procedures for receiving subsidies in the early stage, alleviate the financial pressure of enterprises, and consider the strategic direction adjustment of the subsidy policy for the promotion and application of new energy vehicles at the national level in the new period to achieve the purpose of "boosting consumption and encouraging construction".
