Based on the new second-generation GEP pure electric platform, gac motor Toyota iA5 medium-sized model, which is positioned as a "high-quality new experience EV", adopts a high-efficiency permanent magnet synchronous motor with three electrics in one, and the 510km endurance version of the model has increased the maximum power from 135kW to 150kW, the maximum torque has been increased from 300N·m to 350N·m, and the 0-50km/h acceleration takes only 3.5 seconds under the condition of 13.1kWh/100km comprehensive power consumption.

Double-laminar flow air conditioning technology can achieve independent intake of internal and external air in low temperature environment, effectively reducing heating energy loss, improving low temperature endurance, and reducing the risk of fogging of the window. If the vehicle is driven in an outdoor -10 °C environment of 60km/h, when running from full power to 0 electricity, the double-laminar flow air conditioner can save 5.6kWh of electricity and increase the cruising range by about 30km.

In terms of charging efficiency, GAC Toyota has also made efforts. In the DC fast charge mode, it takes only 42 minutes for the power to charge from 30% to 80% (45 minutes for the Premium Long Battery Life Edition), and only 9.5 hours for AC Slow Charge (12.5 hours for the Premium Long Battery Life Edition), which is greatly improved compared with the previous charging efficiency.
