It is understood that The construction area of The Sunwoda 30GWh power battery project is about 1 million square meters, mainly building an annual output of 30GWh power batteries, energy storage batteries and supporting production bases, which is the largest lithium battery industry project invested by Zaozhuang at present, and the product will be off the line at the earliest end of the year.
In July last year, Geely Automobile and its subsidiary Jirun entered into a joint venture agreement with Sunwoda Group, in which the two sides will establish a joint venture company to develop, produce and sell hybrid (HEV) battery cells, battery modules and battery packs, which can be widely used in geely's various models.
At the business level, judging from the announcement, the joint venture company will mainly be engaged in the development, production and sales and after-sales service of lithium-ion batteries, lithium polymer batteries, power batteries, energy storage batteries, battery management systems and rechargeable battery packs, as well as technical services, testing services and consulting services for lithium batteries and related products.
